Blood Pressure Distribution And Risk Factors Of Children And Adolescents In Mojiang County,Yunnan Province

Objective(s):To learn the prevalence of hypertension in children and adolescents aged 7 to 18 years in Mojiang county,Yunnan province,and the risk factors of hypertension;It provides a basis for prevention and treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents.Methods:A total 4778 students aged 7 to 18 years old from 12 Primary school and 10 Junior high school in Mojiang county,Yunnan province were sampled with cluster random sampling.The investigation items included the measurement height,weight and blood pressure,SPSS 24.0 of statistical sofftware was used for data analysis.Results:1?The prevalence of childhood hypertension in Mojiang county,Yunnan province was 5.92%(283/4778),(5.09%for boys,6.89%for girls),and there is statistically significant difference(P<0.05);the prevalence of children hypertension was increasing with age.2.The prevalence of obesity in Mojiang county,Yunnan province was 2.64%,the prevalence of overweight was 4.81%.Hypertension are closely related to overweight and obesity,the hypertension prevalence in obesity group was 17.46%,it was 15.22%in overweight group was higher than normal weight group(5.11%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),Conclusion(s):1.Compared with relevant domestic studies,the prevalence of hypertension among children and adolescents in Mojiang county,Yunnan province is at a moderate level.2.Overweight,obesity,age are associated with hypertension in children and adolescents.
