Objective:Retrospective comparison of the efficacy of bio-type FMT femoral stem ceramics for ceramic on ceramic and metal on polyethylene total hip arthroplasty for the treatment of hip joint disease in the near-term effect.Method:A retrospective follow-up study of 110 patients(113 hips)who underwent primary total hip arthroplasty performed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2012 to December 2016 was performed.All femoral stems were treated with Zimmer's FMT bio-femoral stem.According to the joint friction interface,the ceramic-to-ceramic(COC)group and the metal-to-polyethylene(MPO)group were included.In the COC group,there were 59 patients with 60 hips,26 males and 33 females,aged 44-79 years(61.68±12.21).In the MOP group,there were 51 cases of 53 hips,13 males and 38 females,aged 22-88 years(65.41±7.64).The analysis of Harris scores and complications before and after follow-up was analyzed in two groups.A retrospective follow-up study was performed on 110 patients(113 hips)who underwent primary total hip arthroplasty.The femoral stems were treated with the Zimmer FMT bioartificial femoral stem,and were divided into ceramic-to-ceramic(COC)groups and metal pairs according to the joint friction interface.Polyethylene(MPO)group,MOP group: 51 patients(53 hips),13 males,38 females,aged 22-88 years old,average(65.41±7.64),COC group,59 cases of 60 hips,26 males,33 females,age 44-79 years old,average(60.68±12.21).The analysis of Harris scores and complications before and after follow-up was analyzed in two groups.Result:At the last follow-up,Harris scores were(46.22±31.4)points and(87.15±7.25)points before and after surgery in the COC group,Harris scores were(34.30±33.2)points and(86.81±8.56)points before and after surgery in the MOP group.the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Postoperative Harris of COC group and MOP group were(87.15±7.25)points,(86.81±8.56)points,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in complications such as joint dislocation,prosthesis fragmentation,joint abnormality,aseptic loosening of prosthesis,osteolysis around the prosthesis,ossification of foreignization,and revision rate.P>0.05).Conclusion:Patients with biotype FMT femoral stem total hip arthroplasty can achieve better clinical efficacy in the ceramic-to-ceramic group and the metal-to-polyethylene group,and the incidence of hip joint function and adverse events is similar in both groups..
