Comparison Of Curative Effects Of Mifepristone And Mirena In Treatment Of Perimenopausal Women With Uterine Leiomyoma

objective: To explore the curative effects and side effect of Mifepristone and Mirena(Levonorgestrel—releasing intrauterine system)treatment of perimenopausal women with uterine leiomyoma,whoes symptoms were obviously,in long-term management ? Methods: 90 patients with uterine Leiomyoma accompanied by menorrhagia?pelvic pain and moderate or severe anemia caused by myoma of uterus,who no surgical indications,were involved in present study.Were divided into A: Mifepristone group,B: Mifepristone combine Mirena group,C: Mirena group.uterus volume,tumor size,the thickness of endometrium,menstrual conditions,dysmenorrhea,before treatment,And complaints about discomfort after participating in the study three and six month after treatment in three group were compared.Results: A: uterine and myoma volume(10.11%,29.44%)decreased At the end of 3 month therapy(P<0.05).3rd month after therapy,uterine and myoma volume increased than end of 3 month therapy(P<0.05),have no significant difference in menstrual conditions and dysmenorrhea(P>0.05).B: uterine and myoma volume(9.13%,22.25%)decreased at the end of 3 month therapy(P<0.05).Fifth to seven days in the menstrual cycle,underwent Mirena placement.3rd month after Mirena therapy,The myoma and uterine volume Increase,but the increase is not obvious(P<0.05),menstrual cycle don`t found significant difference.irregular vaginal bleeding increased but less than Mirena group(P<0.05).period pain obviously relieved,significant difference between three group.(P<0.05).C: three and six month after Mirena therapy,myoma and uterine volume,no significant statistically difference was found(P>0.05).Menstrual cycle don`t found significant difference.irregular vaginal bleeding increased(P<0.05).period pain relieved.Conclusion: The combination of Mirena and mifepristone for long-term management of fibroid patients,period pain obviously relieved,size of the uterus and fibroids after mifepristone treatment is smaller than before,LNG-IUS maintain myoma and uterine volume.No rebound phenomenon?Continuous treatment of long-term management by LNG-IUS combined with mifepristone,Obvious improvement of abnormal uterine bleeding,Menstrual cycle lengthening,The amount of menstruation significantly decreased,and the conscious symptoms obviously improved ? No endometrial hyperplasia and other changes in the endometrium?Mifepristone and Mirena of different modes of administration are safe and effective in treatment of perimenopausal women with uterine leiomyoma,especially Mifepristone combine Mirena,whose curative effect is more significant.
