Objective: Analyzed and discussed the clinical efficacy of the palm and dorsal surgical approach to treat the distal radius fractures.Materials and Methods: From September 2015 to December 2017,76 patients with distal radius fractures, who were treated with open reduction and internal fixation in our Emergency Department Traumatology Department,According to the direction of the fracture fragments, the patients divided into volar approach group and dorsal approach group with open reduction and internal fixation, two groups were compared operative time, blood loss, the healing time and hospital stay and other indicators,Before and after surgery, the changes of calyx, ulnar and radial height, wrist function and postoperative complications were measured. The curative effect of the two surgical approaches was evaluated and analyzed. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospitalization time and healing time.Postoperative patients palmar angle, ulnar deviation, radial length and wrist function improvement were not significantly different(P> 0.05).Conclusion: According to the actual situation in the clinic, the selection of the palmar approach or dorsal approach for the treatment of distal radius fractures, can achieve satisfactory clinical efficacy.
