Objective: To investigate the accuracy of Fibroscan in the diagnosis of cirrhosis with a cut-off value of 17.5 kPa,analyze the influencing factors of LSM value, and provide reference for clinicians to interpret Fibroscan results. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 211 inpatients with LSM?17.5k Pa detected by Fibroscan at the Infectious Diseases Division of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from May 2017 to November 2017,and compared Fibroscan with cirrhosis and B ultrasound and liver pathology. The coincidence rate of pathological biopsy and clinical diagnosis, and the correlation analysis and mean comparison of some clinical data of 211 patients with LSM,and its influence on LSM value was analyzed.RESULTS: 211 Fibroscan patients who achieved a cirrhosis cut-off(17.5 kPa),only 39.3% were confirmed to be cirrhosis by B-ultrasound,only 63.6% were confirmed to be liver cirrhosis by liver pathology, and only 51.2% were eventually diagnosed as liver cirrhosis..LSM was positively associated with body weight, height,BMI,TBIL,DBIL,ALP,PT;negatively correlated with ALB,PA,and PTA.There was a statistically significant difference in LSM between the liver cancer group and the non-hepatoma group. There was no significant difference in LSM values between diabetes group, biliary system disease(cholecyst stones, cholecystitis, intrahepatic bile duct stones),and liver flukes. Conclusion: The accuracy of cirrhosis diagnosis using Fibroscan alone may not be high.Body weight, height,BMI,TBIL,DBIL,ALP,PT,ALB,PA,PTA,and liver cancer may be the influencing factors of LSM.
