The Relationship Between Serum Retinol Binding Protein 4 And Diabeticretinopathy In Type 2 Diabetes

Objective:To explore the Serum retinol binding protein 4 levels in patients with Type 2 diabetic retinopathy.Methods:One hundred and eighty two patients with type 2 diabetes who be in The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University,Guang xi,China,from Dec.2016 to Dec.2017.Based on ophthalmological exami nation,these patients were divided into three subgroups: without diabetic r etinopathy(NDR),no proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)and proli ferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR).To collect clinical data: including sex of the patient,age,the course of diabetes,stature and weight.To test the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein Cholesterol(HDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),Fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 hours postprandial blood glucose(PBG2h)Glycosylated Hemoglobin A1c(Hb A1c),fasting C-peptide(FCP),2 hours postpran-dial C-peptide(FCP2h)and serum retinol-binding protein 4(RBP4),and the rela tionship of the variety factors with retinopathy was analyzed.Results: The serumRBP4 levels in the NDR group,NPDR one,and PDR one were(58.47±21.26),(65.69±21.26),and(69.22±20.51)mg/L,respectively and the differences among groups had the statistical differences(P < 0.05).Spearman analyses showed a significant positive correlation between serum RBP4 and TC(R = 0.182,P < 0.05),TG(R = 0.272,P < 0.01)and LDL-C levels(R = 0.153,P < 0.05).Multivariate logistic regression model analysis showed that the course of diabetes and serum RBP4 were the influencing factors of DR..Conclusions:1.Serum RBP4 and the course of diabetes increased with the severity of diabetic retinopathy.2.The influencing factors of serum RBP4 may be TC TG and LDL-C.3.Serum RBP4 of type 2 diabetes mellitus is associated with diabetic retinopathy in diabetic retinopathy...
