Objective(1)To investigate the situation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)and training needs of primary caregivers of patients with percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI);(2)To analyze the correlation and influence factors of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)knowledge, attitude and practice of primary caregivers of patients with PCI;(3)To explore the effect of PTC training mode on cardiopulmonary resuscitation training for primary caregivers of patients with PCI.Methods A total of 150 primary caregivers of patients with PCI in the Department of Cardiology of the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University and the second affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University were enrolled to survey the KAP of CPR by the general questionnaire and KAP questionnaire about CPR from September 2016 to March 2017.This research was adopted semi-random design of before-after study.120 primary caregivers of patients with PCI in the Department of Cardiology of the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University and the second affiliated hospital of Guangxi Medical University were selected to train CPR by PTC training mode from April 2017 to October 2017,and compare the KAP and technic of CPR in the population of primary caregivers of patients with PCI before and after training to explore the effect of PTC mode,as well as to provide reference for cardiopulmonary resuscitation training for primary caregivers of PCI patients. Results : 1.The situation of KAP for primary caregivers of patients with PCI about CPR(1)The rate of CPR training was 14% which very low in the population of primary caregivers of patients with PCI;(2)The form of CPR training was single, with 76.19% of the organization and 23.81% of the community for primary caregivers of patients with PCI.(3)19.33% of the primary caregivers of patients with PCI have not heard of CPR,and about 96.67% of them were Willing to take part in free training about CPR.(4)There were two main reasons for the failure of the primary caregivers of patients with PCI to attend the CPR training that disn't know where CPR courses like this and free training.(5)The average scores of knowledge, attitude, practice and total KAP of CPR were 9.65±4.26,23.45 ±3.21,30.29±4.60,63.39±8.45,respectively.2.The correlation of knowledge, attitude and practice about CPR for the primary caregivers of patients with PCI Pearson correlation analysis revealed that there were positive correlatio n(P<0.05)between knowledge and attitude(r=0.266),knowledge and pra ctice(r=0.231),attitude and practice(r=0.211).3.The influence factors of knowledge, attitude and practice about CPR for the primary caregivers of patients with PCI(1)There were significant differerces on the scores of CPR for caregivers in patients' admission and numbers of stent implantation, apartment, education, whether had heard of CPR,and whether received CPR training(P<0.05);(2)There were statistically significant differences on the attitude score of CPR for caregivers in age, occupation, whether had heard of CPR and whether received CPR training(P<0.05);(3)There were statistically significant differences on the practice scores of CPR for caregivers in education, whether had heard of CPR,whether received CPR training(P<0.05).(4)The multivariate linear regression analysis showed that the patients' admission, whether had heard of CPR and whether received CPR training were the factors of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation(P<0.05).4.The effect of knowledge, attitude and practice of CPR for the primary caregivers of patients with PCI(1)The average scores of knowledge, attitude, practice, total KAP and technical of CPR before training were 9.64±4.23,23.39±3.19,30.34±4.56,63.39±8.07,9.51±4.16,respectively.(2)The average scores of knowledge, attitude, practice, total KAP and technical of CPR after training were 18.51±2.52,26.87±2.17,34.73±3.63,80.08±5.32,18.51±2.52,respectively.(3)Before traing, the scores of knowledge, attitude, practice and technical of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)were low,and the rates of passing by knowledge and technical of CPR were also low,but after training by PTC model, which showed significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusions: 1.At present, the rate of CPR training is low,and the form of training is single, but the willingness to study CPR is enthusiastic for primary caregivers of patients with PCI,therefore it is feasible to train CPR for them in the form of ward.2.The leve lof KAP is not satisfying and need to improve in the population of primary caregivers of patients with PCI.3.There are free factors include the patients' admission, whether had heard of CPR and whether received CPR training which affect the level of KAP about cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the population.3.There are positively correlated in knowledge, attitude and practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for primary caregivers of patients with PCI.4.It is worth to spread PTC training model due to it can enhance the scores of knowledge, attitude, practice and technic of CPR in the population of primary caregivers of patients with PCI.
