Objective To explore the application effect of mobile medical app in the follow-up management of peritoneal dialysis patients, and to meet the needs of the population for health information services, and to provide a new way of thinking for the management of chronic diseases in medical institutions.Method Using a convenient sampling method.A total of 107 peritoneal dialysis patients who were enrolled in“Walking Life”mobile medical app from January 1st,2017 and who were regularly followed up for 6 months or more were included in the study. The metrological data were expressed byx±s,the paired-t test was used before and after the comparison, the rate of counting data was expressed, and the X~2 test was used before and after the comparison. To compare the changes of various indexes after 6 months of app management, including the incidence of peritonitis related to peritoneal dialysis, the incidence of peritonitis at the outlet of catheter, the infection rate of tunnel, and the rate of admission.(2)Various routine indexes:weight、BP(including SBP、DBP and PP)、UF、UV and(UF+UV).(3)All kinds of laboratory indexes include:Hb、Alb、Ca、P、iPTH、Scr、BUN及Kt/V.Results(1)In this study,12 patients were lost, the rate of missing visit was 10.1%.(2)The incidence of peritonitis decreased from 107 patients per month to 128.4 patients per month after app management for 6 months. The infection rate at catheter outlet decreased from 9.35%to 4.67%,the infection rate of tunnel decreased from 5.61%to1.87%,and the rate of hospitalization rate decreased from 29.91%to 17.76%.There was a significant difference in the changes of the indexes, such as weight、UV、(UV+UF)、SBP、DBP、PP、Hb、Ca、P、i PTH、Scr、BUN(p<0.05);and there was no significant difference between the two indexes, such as UF、Alb及Kt/V(p>0.05).Conclusion After 6 months of follow-up management of patients with peritoneal dialysis with“Walking Life”mobile medical APP,the rate of the catheter, hospitalization was reduced, but the incidence of peritonitis, infection, rate at the outlet of the catheter, and the reduction of the rate of tunnel infection were no significant;the weight control blood pressure and anemia were improved, the level of toxin was reduced, but with the time of dialysis was prolonged. The urine volume and total liquid clearance decreased gradually, but no significant effect on ultrafiltration volume, albumin and dialysis adequacy.
