Objective:Using voxel-based morphometry(VBM)and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI),we explored brain structural and functional changes of NPSLE.Information and Methods :1?A total of 24 patients with NPSLE and 24 healthy volunteers were enrolled in this study.The case group needs to be clinically confirmed by the 1999 ACR classification criteria for NPSLE.2?Acquiring the T1 WI 3D data and resting-state data of NPSLE patients.3?The data format of T1 WI 3D image was transformed by MRIcron,and then SPM8 and VBM8 were used to preprocess the data and the statistical results were analyzed to get the significant brain area of NPSLE.4?All fMRI images were preprocessed by DPASF software,then the whole brain ReHo value and ALFF value of the two groups were calculated.The significant brain area of NPSLE group was obtained by statistical processing.Results:1?VBM analysis results :Compared with the control group,the NPSLE patients showed an increase of grey matter volume in vermis?right thalamus?left cerebellum ?left hippocampus?left putamen and left cuneus,while the grey matter volume values in right lingual were decreased..(P?0.001)2?ReHo analysis results:Compared with the control group,the NPSLE patients showed an increase of ReHo value in left insula,while the grey matter volume values in right pars opercularis gyri frontalis inferioris?right inferior temporal gyrus?right superior parietal gyrus and left middle frontal gyrus were decreased.(P?0.001)3?ALFF analysis results:Compared with the control group,the NPSLE patients showed an increase of ALFF value in vermis and left dorsolateral superior frontal gyrus,while the grey matter volume values in right superior temporal pole ?right inferior parietal lobule?right triangle inferior frontal gyrus ?right angular?left precuneus and left middle frontal gyrus were decreased.(P?0.001)Conclusion:There are extensive abnormal areas of brain structure and function under resting state in NPSLE.Using VBM?ReHo and ALFF,we can make a preliminary evaluation of the brain structure and function under resting state and know the related brain regions of NPSLE.
