Objective By comparing the performance of schizophrenia group and healthy group in actual source monitoring task,we investigated whether there is difference in source monitoring ability between schizophrenia group and healthy group,and inspired to provide experimental support for neuroelectrophysiology.Methods Event-related potentials(ERPs)and behavior measures were used to investigate the reality source monitoring ability about previously perceived and imagined pictures.14 schizophrenia patients and 14 healthy people participated in the experiment.The current study consists of study section and test section.At study,words of two types of sources were presented randomly,perceived and imagined.Half of these were followed by a corresponding picture,last 5 seconds and the other half by an empty frame,last 5 seconds,signaling to the participants to mentally visualize an image.At test,and correctly identified old items participants in a reality source-monitoring task made a three-way discrimination between new words and words corresponding to previously perceived and imagined pictures.ERPs were recorded during the source monitoring test only.Results(1)Correct rate: The correct rates of the three sources within the two groups were statistically significant(P <0.001),the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in words perceived(P> 0.05).Response time: The average response time difference between the three sources within the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.001),between the two groups of imagined words and new words were statistically significant differences(P <0.01),to see the picture There was no significant difference between the two groups(P> 0.05).(3)ERPs waveform: In both groups,correctly identified old items elicited more positive-going ERPs than corrected new items.Schizophrenia patients in the real source monitoring mission only in the right parietal lobe old and new effects appear,while the health group in the reality source monitoring parietal lobe area generally appear new and old parietal effect,That is,fine parietal effect is weaker than the healthy group.In the healthy group,the parietal lobe was significantly activated,showing the left superiority,whereas the parietal lobe activation was extremely weak.Conclusion 1.By using behavioral data and ERPs waveforms,topographic maps show impaired real-world source monitoring capabilities in patients with schizophrenia.2.Schizophrenia patients in the reality source monitoring task the parietal effects of old and new only occurred in the right of parietal lobe,but the reality source monitoring of the health group,the old and new effects generally appear in the parietal lobe,that is schizophrenia group effect is lower than the healthy group.3.The parietal effect of the healthy group showed the left edge,while the parietal lobe effect of schizophrenic patients was not,and the results showed that the parietal function was abnormal in the reality source monitoring task.
