Objective Observe the short-term surgical curative effect of left atrial myxoma removal surgery and explore the related risk factors that influence its prognosis. The aim is to guide clinical to better grasp the timing of surgery, improve the prognosis of patients and improve the quality of life after surgery.Method From 2011 to 2016,70 patients we routinely "simple left atrial myxoma excision" were followed up for a period of six months, including 26 males,44 females;age 17 ~ 77(51.43 ± 13.77)years of age, clinical Symptoms were as follows: 64 cases of dyspnea, embolism in 5 cases, physical examination found in 1 case. All patients were intubated within a composite body vein under anesthesia, the pathway into the chest sternotomy, respectively, the inferior vena cava cannulation to establish cardiopulmonary bypass and aortic root, cut right atrium, atrial septum,Complete resection of the tumor and its pedicle tissue, defect pericardial patch or direct suture repair, surgery were successfully completed, cardiac arrest time is less than 1 hour.Oral cardiac and diuretic drugs were given orally for half a year after operation. The patients underwent echocardiography in our hospital before surgery,1 week after surgery,1month,3 months and 6 months after operation respectively. The instrument model was PHILIPS EPIQ5.Preoperative and postoperative echocardiography measured left atrial end-diastolic diameter, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular ejection fraction. The follow-up of patients with preoperative and postoperative echocardiography of left atrial end-diastolic diameter, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular ejection fraction to understand postoperative cardiac function and morphological improvement,to assess the clinical efficacy. Results 70 cases of simple left atrial myxoma removal of patients discharged aftergeneral activity chest tightness and other symptoms were improved, including 0 deaths, preoperative sinus rhythm and postoperative atrial fibrillation in 13 cases, postoperative atrial fibrillation Turn to sinus rhythm in 9 cases, low cardiac output syndrome 0.One week after surgery, the diameter of the left atrial end-diastole was significantly reduced compared with that before surgery. There was no significant change in left ventricular end-diastolic diameter before and after one week. The diameter of left ventricular end-diastolic increased slowly one week after the operation.Preoperative to postoperative one week, left ventricular ejection fraction decreased significantly;between 1 week after surgery and 3 months after surgery, ejection fraction increased significantly, and in 3 months after surgery to 6 months after surgery to stabilize. Conclusion In patients with myxoma removal of the shape of the recent heart size has undergone significant changes in cardiac function also significantly improved. One to three months after surgery,is the most obvious improvement of cardiac morphology and function of the period. At 6 months after operation, the improvement of cardiac morphology and function began to decrease and stabilized, and the effect of surgery was satisfactory.
