Objective:To investigate the applying value of bipolar radiofrequency(Habib 4X)in laparoscopic liver resection. Methods:A retrospective study was performed during November 2014 to November 2017,The clinical data of 48 patients underwent laparoscopic hepatectomy were retrospectively analyzed.Among them, bipolar radiofrequency(Habib 4X)assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy in 24 cases(Habib group),conventional laparoscopic hepatectomy in 24 cases(control group). The gender, age, tumor size, preoperative liver function, intraoperative blood loss, blood transfusion, occlusion of hepatic blood flow, total operative time, actual hepatectomy time, postoperative liver function recovery, postoperative complications, postoperative hospital stay and follow-up of these patients were analyzed. Results:There was no significant difference in age,sex and tumor size between Habib group(24 cases)and control group(24 cases)(P>0.05).The preoperative liver function indexes(ALT,AST,TB)of two groups was comparable(P>0.05).The actual time of liver resection in Habib group was shorter than that in control group(P<0.05),the blood loss in Habib group during operation was less than that of control group(P<0.05).The blood transfusion rate in Habib group was less than that in control group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The Habib group had less effect on postoperative liver function than control group(P<0.05).Postoperative recovery time of liver function in Habib group was faster than control group(P<0.05),postoperative hospital stay was shorter than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative biliary leakage, bleeding, infection, effusion and overall complications between the two groups(P> 0.05).Conclusions:Bipolar radiofrequency(Habib 4X)assisted laparoscopic hepatectomy can reduce intraoperative bleeding and blood transfusion requirements, reduce the number and time of intraoperative occlusion of the hepatic blood flow and avoid liver ischemia-reperfusion injury to a large extent, with rapid recovery of liver function after surgery and shorter hospital stay, and does not increase the incidence of postoperative complications.
