Objective:Through the magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging technology,it proved the anisotropy difference in water molecules of neck muscles on patients with cervical instability before and after the treatment of Wei's balance technique, and preliminarily evaluated the decidability and feasibility of curative effect on the treatment of cervical instability using Wei's balance technique, thereby provided new scientific basis and methods for the effect on cervical instability by Wei's balance technique treatment.Method: 15 cases of volunteers with cervical instability(including 7 males and 8 females, mean age 34)admitted into Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicinefrom January,2017 to December,2017 were selected. The therapy was Wei's balance technique, and patients were treated once a week,an interval 6 days between each treatment, amounted to 4 times for one course of treatment.3.OT superconducting magnetic resonance scanner with ZOOM mode was chose as inspection equipment, and study subjects were scanned with conventional MRI and MRI-DTI.EPI sequence was adopted to neck muscles imaging, and each subject's muscle belly center was measured,in order to reduce the influence of artifact. The ROI sizes and locations were selected as consistent as possible when measuring data. The same operator measured different functional group's bilateral sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis FA,ADC values at the C4 level muscle belly, each part repeated measurement three times, and took the average. The improvement of clinical efficacy and objective index was observed before and after treatment.SPSS 22.0 software was used to do statistical analysis, and variance analysis and test were used to compare the difference in FA,ADC values and NDI scores before and after treatment,P<0.05 had significant statistical significance, and P<0.01 had an extremely notable feature. And the relationship between the DTI parameters and the NDI scores before and after treatment was obtained as well.Result:All the volunteers underwent NDI scores and magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging examination, and all of them were treated 4 times by Wei's balance technique, and the NDI scores were obtained and the FA and ADC values were measured.Compared with neck muscles dispersion tensor values of cervical instability crowd before and after the treatment, sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis FA values increased significantly, while ADC values decreased obviously, before and after comparison P<0.01,and the differences were extremely significant.Compared NDI observation index scores before and after the treatment, through the t test analysis,t=-4.165,p<0.05,featured significant statistical significance, overall curative effect for patients was beter after treatment(93.3%),and no adverse events occurred in the process of treatment.Conclusion:1.After magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging treatmentof neck muscles of cervical instability crowd, sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis FA values increased significantly,ADC values decreased obviously. After the treatment of sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis of cervical instability crowd, the dispersion ability of water molecules was limited, and the differences were extremely significant.2.NDI scores of cervical instability patients were lower than before treatment, the differences featured significant statistical significance, and the clinical symptoms of patients were better than before.3.The relationship between NDI scores and DTI parameters on cervical instability crowd before and after treatment showed that bilateral sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis FA values and NDI scores were negatively correlated, and bilateral sternocleidomastoid, splenius capitis and semispinalis capitis ADC values and NDI scores were positively correlated.4.Satisfactory result had been achieved on the treatment of cervical instability patients by Wei's balance technique.5.Magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging has important research value, clinical value and extensive exploration space in the application of muscle tissue.
