Research On The Influential Factors Of Health Anxiety

With the the popularity of the Internet,smart phones and social media,the way to access to health information is becoming more conveniently,people access to health information is no longer dependent on traditional channels of hospitals and doctors,but more frequent,active,through various channels.Especially the active access to health information of the Internet and social networking media,making people's perception more subjectivity of their own body disease,which leads to the catastrophic misinterpretation of their own physical symptom,causing health anxiety.On the basis of the information processing theory,this paper established the health anxiety model,to study the pathogenesis of health anxiety,and explore the influence factors of the occurrence of health anxiety and its mechanism of action.This article adopts the method of questionnaire for data collection,a total of 218 valid data.Using SPSS19.0,Smart PLS 3.0 software to proceed the descriptive analysis of data,the reliability and validity analysis of data,the model fit analysis and the validation analysis of model hypothesis.The analysis results show that,learning history anxiety,physical symptoms severity,anxiety sensitivity has been proved have a positive influence of the catastrophic misinterpretation and health anxiety,catastrophic misinterpretation has been proved has a positive effect about health anxiety,learning history pain and numbers of physical symptoms has no significant effect about catastrophic misinterpretation.Masculinity/femininity has a moderating effect on learning history anxiety between the relationship of catastrophic misinterpretation;Individualism/collectivism has a moderating effect on anxiety sensitivity between the relationship of catastrophic misinterpretation,and the physical symptoms severity between the relationship of catastrophic misinterpretation;Power distance has a moderating effect on anxiety sensitivity between the relationship of catastrophic misinterpretation.Finally,this study aimed at the test results of the health anxiety model,put forwardthe limitations of this article and the research prospect for subsequent researchers.
