Objective: To compare clinical outcomes of frozen thawed embryo at different transplanting time via the performance of retrospective case analysis. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 400 cases of frozen embryo transfer patients in their period of cleavage(embryo on the third day of development)in the reproductive medicine center of the Second People's Hospital of Nanning from August 2015 to April 2016.According to the different time of ovulation and the time of endometrial transformation, involved patients were divided into two groups of the experimental group A(n=182)and the control group B(n=218).Patients in the experimental group were divided into natural cycle group A1 and artificial progesterone cycle group A2.Group A1 were those in their fourth day after ovulation, group A2 were those in the fifth day of artificial progesterone cycle after transplantation, and patients in the control group weredivided into natural cycle group B1 and artificial progesterone cycle group B2.GroupB1 were those on the third day after ovulation, group B2 were those on the fourth day of artificial progesterone cycle after transplantation. The biochemical pregnancy rate, embryo implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate and live birth rate were compared between the experimental group and the control group.Results:1.There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the age, type of infertility, duration of infertility, body mass index, number of embryos transferred, formation rate of morula, the hormone levels before transplantation, and the thickness of endometrium(P>0.05).2.The biochemical pregnancy rate of the experimental group and the control group was 58.79% and 43.12%,respectively,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Furthermore,the clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate were 55.49% and 35.69% in the experimental group, respectively;corresponding clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate of the control group were 39.9% and 24.70%,respectively,differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition, there was no obvious statistical difference of early abortion rate between the experimental group(14.85%)and the control group(16.09%)(P>0.05).but,the live birth rate of the experimental group and the control group was 44.51% and 33.03%,respectively,the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The pregnancy outcomes were compared between groups according to different endometrial preparation methods, corresponding results showed that there was statistical difference of the clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate in natural cycles between groups(P<0.05,56.8% vs 43.7%;36.25% vs27.31%).Meanwhile,statistical differences were also observed of the clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate in artificial cycles between groups(P<0.05,52.63% vs 33.73%;34.82% vs 20.49%).The experimental group had a higher clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate compared with the control group in the natural and artificial cycles.4.Compare clinical outcomes between the group A1 and A2,the biochemical pregnancy rate, the clinical pregnancy rate, growing rate and live birth rates of group A1 were both higher than in group A2,compared the two groups, respectively, the difference between groups has no statistically significant.(P>0.05)Conclusion:In this study,we found that the appropriate delay cleavage stage of frozen embryo transplantation can obtain higher embryo grow rate, higher clinical pregnancy rate and higher live birth rate, thus, clearly showing an improvement in the clinical outcome. It provides a reference basis in clinical work for cleavage stage of frozen embryo transfer timing.
