Animals have been used as experimental groups in the study of the mechanism of relapse. However, there are few studies on the establishment of related relapse models in the addictive population. This study is based on the animal relapse model to establish a conditioned place preference relapse model for the methamphetamine addicts. The purpose of this study is to establish a comprehensive evaluation system for relapse risk through the establishment of a relapse model to provide a new method for the withdrawal and evaluation of addicted groups. This study uses virtual reality technology to create an experimental scenario for conditioned place preference paradigm, and to improve the ecological validity of the scene as much as possible in order to expect the subject to have an experiential experience. The model of relapse is divided into three stages:the first stage(Experiment 1)is the establishment of conditioned place preference:the establishment of two virtual room scenes with the virtual reality conditioned place preference paradigm and the placement of methamphetamine cue related materials in the scene as reward pricking to establish position preference. The results of the behavioral data and the study of the frontal lateralization of the frontal lobe of the brain found that the virtual reality conditioned place preference paradigm could make the addicts have a higher preference for the rooms that matched the methamphetamine cue related materials. The second stage(experiment two)is a regression of conditioned place preference:on the basis of location preference, the removal of the preference for methamphetamine cued related materials after removal of methamphetamine cue related materials.Behavioral data and frontal lobe lateralization data revealed that after removing methamphetamine cue cues, the addicts' preference for the room would subside. The third stage(experiment three)was the reconstruction of conditioned place preference:the experimental group was started by watching a picture of the methylaniline cue related materials, and the control group watched the neutral picture,to see if the preference for the previously matched methamphetamine cued related material room could be reestablished. It was found that compared with the control group, the experimental group could re establish the preference for matching the methamphetamine cue room. The results of the three experiments showed that a conditioned place preference relapse model could be established in the methamphetamine addicts. The relapse model could be used to assess the risk of relapse of methamphetamine addicts under methamphetamine cues.
