Objective:With the development of population aging in China, the incidence of stroke is increasing year by year. The morbidity, mortality and recurrence rate of stroke is higher,it is a serious threat to people's health.Progressive ischemic stroke?PIS?is the more severe type of stroke, its morbidity, recurrence and mortality were higher than the common type of stroke. To study the risk factors of PIS and to rank them,in order to provide guidance for preventing the occurrence and progression of acute ischemic stroke. Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria of acute ischemic stroke, statistics all acute ischemic stroke patients in our hospital's Neurology,a total of 303 cases. The neurological deficits within 6h-72h after onset were scored[1].According to the score, the patients were divided into PIS group?115cases?and non PIS group?188cases?.The chi-square test was used to analyze each risk factor, multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the factors of P<0.2 in the Chi-square test.Based on the results, the risk factors of PIS were finally determined and to rank the risk of dangerous factorsResults:1.In the chi-square test, gender, age, hyperuricemia, drinking history, and history of cerebral infarction were all P>0.05,indicating that there was no significant difference in the above five risk factors between the PIS group and the non-PIS group.Carotid atherosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, smoking history, and atrial fibrillation were the seven risk factors P<0.05,indicating thatthere are significant differences among the above seven risk factors in the PIS group and the non-PIS group.2.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis, carotid plaque, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, atrial fibrillation, smoking these seven factors P<0.05,indicating that there is a significant difference in the progression of acute ischemic stroke.According to the OR values of these seven risk factors, the impact on the progress of acute ischemic stroke were:atrial fibrillation>Diabetes>hyperlipidemia>carotid artery plaques>hypertension>hyperhomocysteinemia>Smoking.3.The high serum ferritin content in the chi-square test was significantly different between the PIS group and the non-PIS group?P=0.02?,but multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that high serum ferritin was not a risk factor for PIS?P=0.149?.Conclusions:1.Atrialfibrillation,carotidatherosclerosisplaques,diabetesmellitus,hyperlipidemia,hyperhomocysteine,hypertension,smoking,P<0.05,the above 7risk factors have significant influence on the progress of acute ischemic stroke.2.High serum ferritin has no significant effect on the progression of acute ischemic stroke.3.The impact of seven risk factors for PIS on the progression of acute ischemic stroke in this study was:atrial fibrillation>diabetes mellitus>hyperlipidemia>carotid atheroma plaque>hypertension>hyperhomocysteine>smoking.
