Correlation Of Serum Cystatin C And Leukoaraiosis In Essential Hypertensive Patients

Objective:Leukoaraiosis was a type of small vessel disease with high prevalence.It had been shown that renal insufficiency was related to small vessel disease,and Cystatin C(CYSC)was a new sensitive indicator of Renal insufficiency.This study was to explore the primary hypertension patients serum CYSC level and the correlation of brain white matter loose,as well as discussing the relationship between the different levels of CYSC in different degrees of leukoaraiosis.In the hope to find a valuable biomarker for monitoring the complications of the patients with essential hypertension.Methods: The clinical data information were studied between 64 patients with essential hypertension merge leukoaraiosis and 59 patients with essential hypertension to estimate the risks of leukoaraiosis.Single factor and multiple variables logistic regression were used to analyzed the datas pf these two groups,For the presence of leukoaraiosis depicting the receiver-operating characteristic curve(ROC curve).According to Fazekas image criteria of cerebral white matter loose severity rating,and then it was easy for us to exploreserum CYSC level and the relationship between the different severity of cerebral white matter osteoporosis.Results:(1)There were significant difference between patients with essential hypertension and patients with essential hypertension merge leukoaraiosis in age,CYSC and HCY,which suggests the above indexes in hypertension associated with cerebral white matter the occurrence of osteoporosis(P<0.05).(2)CYSC,age and HCY multivariable binary classification logistic regression analysis showed that CYSC and aged hypertension with cerebral white matter was statistically difference between osteoporosis and pure hypertension group(P < 0.01).After adjustment for multiple factors P value is less than 0.01,indicating that CYSC,age may be independent risk factors for osteoporosis in patients with hypertension cerebral white matter.(3)The leukoaraiosis were classified by image,analysis results show that with the increase of cerebral white matter of grading,CYSC level also will increase.Conclusion:(1)In patients with essential hypertension serum cystatin C levels are associated with that The incidence of leukoaraiosis and leukoaraiosis severity.(2)Serum cystatin C may be used as leukoaraiosis risk factors,Predict the emergence of leukoaraiosis and leukoaraiosis severity of an early indicator.
