Objective: To investigate the susceptibility conferring prostate cancer by performing whole exome sequencing on prostate cancer tissues and adjacent tissues in Zhuangs patients. Methods: The cancer tissues and adjacent tissues from twenty-six Zhuangs prostate cancer patients were collected. All exons were sequenced with Illuminate platform. The mutated genes were screened and the TOP60 candidate genes were selected. Finally,in the DAVID online function pathway enrichment database and an integrated genetic and clinical database for coding variants in the human genome, find out if there is a gene mutation that is related to human disease in the TOP 60 mutant gene. Results: 1.Co-mutation results showed that there was a mutation in Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor-related Protein 1(LRP1)gene in 23.1% of patients;2.Human genetic variation and clinical information integration database showed the mutation of the LRP1 gene chr12:57556206 may be associated with prostate cancer. Conclusion: The mutations in the LRP1 gene chr12:57603908,chr12:57548363,chr12:57567636,chr12:57554683,and chr12:57549979 may be related to prostate cancer in the Zhuangs.
