Objective: With the development of population aging, the incidence of hip fracture in elderly patients also increases.Surgical treatment of hip fracture has become the treatment of choice, and needs to bear the surgical risk. This article mainly studies the value of the new experimental scale in the risk assessment of surgical treatment of hip fracture in the elderly. Methods: This study included a total of 102 patients with traumatic orthopaedics who were admitted to the Anhui Provincial Hospital from November 2016 to June 2017,all of whom were ?60 years old. They were diagnosed with a hip fracture and treated with surgery. All the patients met the current conditions for inclusion.Total 102 cases of patients were used to measure the experimental scale and the POSSUM scoring system to obtain the score of physiology and surgical severity score, complication rate and mortality were calculated according to the regression formula, observed, recorded, followed up for 30 days after surgery.Use statistical methods to compare the two and explore whether there is consistency in the assessment between the two.Analyze the role of the experimental scale in the risk assessment of hip fractures in the elderly.Use the statistical software to draw the ROC curve and obtain the AUC size.Results:(1)Of the 102 patients,42 were male and 60 were female, ranging in age from 60 to 93 years(73.9±5.9)years.Using the experimental scale statistics, preoperative physiology score of 12 to 27 points,an average of(17.54±3.67)points;surgical severity score of 98 to 12 points,an average of(9.03±0.58)points,calculated 22 cases were expected postoperative complications disease, expected to die in 6 cases.Using the POSSUM scale, the preoperative physiology score was 12 to 40,with an average of(19.37±4.39)points,and the severity of the operation was 9 to 13 points(10.03±0.37),calculated 31 cases were expected postoperative complications disease, expected to die in 15 cases.(2)There was no significant difference between the predictive value and the actual value of the two methods(P> 0.05),and no significant difference between the predictive value of the experimental scale and the actual value(P> 0.05),the POSSUM scoring system was dead The difference between the predicted value and the actual value was statistically significant(P <0.05).(3)The Kappa test, the test scale and POSSUM scoring system in the elderly patients with hip fractures expected complications of the two tests were consistent(P> 0.05),predictive mortality was inconsistent(P <0.05).(4)According to the ROC curves of experimental data, the AUC and 95% confidence intervals of the experimental data were 0.92 and 0.918.Conclusion:The new experimental scale can accurately predict the complications and mortality of elderly patients with hip fracture surgery. The POSSUM scoring system overestimates the operative mortality rate. The new experimental scale has good value in the surgical risk assessment of elderly hip fracture.
