Objective: To investigate the incidence, severity, clinical manifestation and immunological characteristics of primary Sjogren's syndrome(p SS),and strengthen the understanding of the liver damage in Sjogren's syndrome,to guide clinical treatment. Methods: 630 patients with p SS were collected from January 2007 to January 2017 in the Department of Rheumatology,Anhui Provincial Hospital by the clinical, laboratory and liver function data, and the clinical characteristics of p SS liver damage were analyzed statistically.Results:(1)In 630 patients with p SS,110 had abnormal liver function,The abnormal incidence rate was 17.59%,and the incidence was 15.08% after excluding other factors such as drugs, alcohol, autoimmune liver disease,etc.(2),91 of 95 patients(95.79%)with p SS liver lesions had clinical manifestations and 4 cases had liver damage in physical examination. The majority of patients with dry eye,dry mouth(including dental caries, tooth loss, redness of parotid gland, etc.)visit a doctor, followed by digestive symptoms.(3)Comparison of liver damage group and non-liver damage group,Gender,age,ANA,anti-SSA antibody,anti-SSB antibody,anti-RNP,anti-P protein antibody,anti-SM antibody, positive rate of RF and serum immunoglobulin Ig A,Ig G,complement C3,C4 levels had no statistical significance(P>0.05).ESR,CRP,serum Ig M and the positive rate of anti-CENP antibody were significantly different(P<0.05).(4)95 cases of liver lesion were given glucocorticoid and/ or delayed treatment with antirheumatic drugs.ALT and AST were significantly lower in 62 patients after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).ALP,GGT,TBIL and DBIL had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: The incidence of liver damage in primary sjogren's syndrome was15.08%.ESR,CRP and immunoglobulin Ig M in liver lesion group were higher than those in non-liver lesion group, and hormone and immunosuppressant could improve liver lesion in Sjogren's syndrome.
