Objective to investigate the feasibility of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography(CBCT)in the clinical assessment of peri-implant trabecular structures. Methods From February 2015 to June 2017,20 patients with teeth lose who received implants were scanned using CBCT to record the radiographic parameters of jaw bone immediately after the surgical procedure, and at the 6th month after operation.During the two periods, forty images were collected, and imported into trabecular bone analysis software CTAn to measure peri-implant trabecular structures. Results There is no significant difference in terms of trabecular separation(Tb.Sp)during six months(P>0.05).There is significant difference in terms of peri-implant trabecular structures between immediate measurement and 6 months’ postoperation measurement(P<0.05): bone volume fraction(BV/TV)、trabecular thickness(Tb.Th)、trabecular number(Tb.N)values were increased and trabecular bone pattern factor(Tb.Pf)、structure model index(SMI)values were decreased after 6 months of operation. Conclusion CBCT is reliable to assess peri-implant trabecular structures, and observe the trabecular structure parameters changing trend over time.
