Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture With Gusongkang Ointment And PVP

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of Gusongkang ointment on osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture after percutaneous vertebroplasty.Method: From January 2017 to August 2017,60 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture were collected from the department of bone and spine surgery in Ruikang Hospital of Guangxi University of TCM and divided into two groups according to the principle of randomization,30 cases in each group.The experimental group: Percutaneous vertebroplasty+Guosongkang ointment+Alfaclacidol Soft Capsules+Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 Tablets;and the control group:Percutaneous vertebroplasty+Alfacalciol soft capsule+Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 Tablets.The VAS and ODI scores were observed before and after treatment for 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months.To observe and record the bone mineral density(BMD)of lumbar vertebrae before and after treatment,and to observe the clinical curative effect of two groups of patients half a year after treatment.The mean ±standard deviation(P < 0.05)was proved to be statistically significant.Result:(1)There was no statistically significant difference in baseline data(gender,age,course of disease,distribution of vertebral body,VAS score before treatment,ODI score,bone mineral density)between the two groups.(2)Two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment.The pain symptoms of the two groups were significantly relieved in 1 weeks,1month,3months and 6 months compared with those before treatment,and the analgesic effect of PVP was significant(P< 0.01).1 weeks after PVP and 1 month,there was no difference in pain relief between the experimental group and the control group(P> 0.05).3 months and 6 months after PVP,the analgesic effect of the test group was better than that of the control group(P< 0.01).(3)Two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment.Compared with two weeks group,1 weeks,1month,3 months and 6 months,the activities of the thoracolumbar and back were improved in the two groups.The effect of PVP on improving the body function was significant(P < 0.01).There was no difference between the control group and the control group at 1 weeks and 1 month after PVP(P > 0.05).3 months and 6 months after PVP,the improvement of the activity function of the test group was better than that of the control group(P< 0.01).(4)The bone mineral density comparison between the two groups before and after treatment: after 6 months of treatment,the BMD of the two groups increased,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05)compared to before treatment.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05)after treatment between the two groups.(5)The efficiency of the two groups after half a year was compared: the efficiency of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P< 0.05).Conclusion: Guosongkang ointment combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty is effective in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,can alleviate patients' pain as soon as possible,also can better prevent postoperative residual low back pain,improve the patients' self-care ability and life quality,increase the body's bone mineral density level,among them,the forward has exact therapeutic effect,is worth popularizing in clinical,use,and further research.
