| Objective: To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of ERCP and its characteristics in elderly patients with common bile duct stones over 60 years of age in our hospital.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 79 cases of medical records who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 2016 to October 2016 due to common bile duct stones and received ERCP surgery..These patients were divided into two groups by patient age,of which the elderly group 41 cases,non-elderly group of 38 cases.The differences between the two groups were analyzed and compared in aymptoms ar the early stage,the characteristics of common bile duct stones,ERCP operation success rate and postoperative complications.Results: 1.The elderly patients with underlying disease was significantly higher than the non-elderly group(P <0.05),of which hypertension is the most common complication disease.2?There was no significant difference in the history of cholecystectomy between the two groups(p> 0.05).The incidence of duodenal papillary diverticulum in the elderly group was higher than that in the non-elderly group(P <0.05).The composition of sediment-like stones in the elderly group is less,while the diameter> 2cm stones constitute more,compared with the non-elderly group was statistically significant(P <0.05).Two groups of one-time removal of stone were high,no significant difference(p> 0.05).3?The success rate of ERCP in both groups was high and no statistical difference(p> 0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications was no significant difference between the two groups(p> 0.05).Conclusion: Although elderly patients with common bile duct stones are often associated with underlying diseases and have more stones and a higher incidence of peri-duodenal diverticula,ERCP is equally safe and effective. |
