With the implement of brain research plan of America and European in 2013,the brain science will be a promising research field in the next ten year.But the extreme complexity of the brain makes it difficult to study on each region of the brain,the feasible method is to select a specific area of the brain.Temporal lobe region of the brain is not only closely associated with the sensory nervous system,but also the key in the brain of higher nervous activity.It is also the important region of some brain disease,such as Alzheimer's disease.Therefore,the research of temporal lobe is an effective way to understand the brain neural processing mechanism,and it is advantageous to study the mechanism of brain disease.First of all,a new index of judging global integration and degree of synchronization is proposed to analysis the epileptic EEG based on information theory.From the calculation of ECoQ the experiment gets the index IRAA and IMA2 as the evaluation index of EEG global synchronization.Experimental carrying out the 3 groups experiment based on the EEG collected in several cognitive tasks.The experimental results show that:the IMA2 and IRAA is effective for EEG synchronization judgment;compared to the values of PLV,IMA2 and IRAA can more clearly differentiate the synchronization state of EEG,and reflect the global brain activity.Secondly,temporal lobe epilepsy EEG synchronization is judged by the new synchronization index.Considering from the perspective of damage,temporal lobe epilepsy is a serious brain disease for the brain function,epilepsy EEG analysis has important significance.Experimental results of synchronization index calculation based on information theory show that when occurring temporal lobe epilepsy,integration and synchronization of the brain global is lower,and the brain activity persistently tends to have high strength,high accuracy.Finally,an improved brain function model is proposed based on temporal lobe structure model.The model simulated the temporal lobe from different angles.To the function,the model mainly simulates the related function regions of temporal lobe and visual,auditory,olfactory and memory.To the structure,the model is including the superior temporal gyrus,fusiform gyrus,hippocampus,amygdala and other important organizational structure.Then,based on The 90 partition of brain function template proposed by Tzourio-Mazoyer,the new model replaced the related regions of temporal lobe using the new temporal lobe node model proposed in this paper,the new network model is consisting of 112 nodes.The new model ismall world characteristic,the experimental results show that the clustering coefficient s analyzed and studied through the of improved network model is better than the original model.At the same time,the description of the improved network model for brain is more specific and clear.
