Agricultural Internet of things(IoT)environment monitoring is an important application in current agricultural IoT,field cultivation,facilities horticulture aquaculture and other important areas of agricultural production is inseparable from the environmental monitoring,monitoring sensors used in the continuous monitoring data,a large number of monitoring data in help to improve the environmental quality and guide the agricultural production,at the same time,to much data can also lead to performance degradation for such applications.In view of the above contradictions,proper management of such monitoring data is essential,which can help the environmental monitoring applications to better achieve its goals.Such environmental monitoring data belong to time-series in the agricultural IoT,and the management of agricultural time-series is different from other non-time series in the agricultural IoT,because agricultural time-series has the following characteristics:There is a fast growth of agricultural time-series data and a very few operations of the deletion and modification.Also,this kind of data can be written in chronological order and query,and have obvious cold and hot effect.However,other agricultural non-time series data,such as the subordinate management of agricultural materials,warehouse management,control data of agricultural machinery and other management type data and control type data,do not have the above characteristics,so the management of agricultural IoT time-series data is different from that of non-time series data.In the age of 5G era,with a lot of growth in the number of agricultural sensors,agricultural time-series data will be dramatic expansion,and agricultural IoT environment monitoring application will face greater performance bottleneck problems,such as the increase in the delay of sensors to upload data,the increase in the delay of the user query monitoring,the increase of the storage resources occupied by time series data,etc.In order to solve the problems mentioned above,the agricultural IoT time-series data processing platform designed in this paper will process agricultural time-series data.We will introduce the whole process of agricultural time-series generation,storage and query.We also use tools such as message queue and time-series database to manage time-series data and optimize the user's query request according to down-precision sampling of the time-series data.In this paper,the design and implementation of the agricultural Internet of Things time series data processing platform is finally completed and tested in an agricultural IoT application that monitors the soil and air in the environment.
