| To explore the appropriate application amount of inhibitor NAM in different regions and crops,and the application effect of stabilized fertilizer in different regions and crops,this study selected representative crops in South,Southwest,East,Central,North,Northwest and Northeast China.Field experiments and demonstrations were carried out in 2009-2013 to calculate the yield and nitrogen agronomic efficiency(NAE)by measuring the yield of field crops,so as to reveal the appropriate inhibitor application amount of crops in different regions and clarify the effect of stabilized fertilizer on crop yield and NAE in different regions.The results show that:1)The inhibitor recommended application(IRA)for tea tree and longan in southern part of China were 7.5‰ and 8‰,the yield growth rate were 6.94% and 24.92%;in eastern region of China,the IRA for wheat、maize and peanut were 6‰、7‰ and 5‰,the yield growth rate were 14.3%、10.98% and 12.17%;for paddy in central region of China,the IRA was 12‰,yield growth rate was 8.74%;for apple and wheat in northwestern regions,the IRA were all 7‰,and the yield growth were 27.83% and 3.63%;for maize in northwestern region in China,the IRA was 5‰,and the yield growth rate was 1.97%;the IRA for maize in northeastern region was 9‰,and the yield growth was 7.67%;the inhibitor driven yield growth for northwestern region(maize,wheat)was less significant than other regions,whereas the IRA for paddy field was 12‰ on average,and is higher than 5‰-9‰ on dryland.2)Compared with conventional fertilization(CK),the stabilized fertilizer(SF)offers yield growth rate for southern region,western region,central region,eastern region,northern region,northwestern region,and northeastern region,which were 5.00%,13.40%,6.96%,8.68%,16.30%,8.72% and 5.80% respectively;the NAE increase were 36.11%,29.84%,51.02%,27.25%,21.00% and 54.73% respectively;compared with conventional fertilization,80% stabilized fertilizer treatment(80% SF)offers average yield growth rate for 1.62%,10.38%,1.78%,6.34%,8.35%,1.44% and 0.09% respectively,the NAE increase were 78.24%,81.41%,49.22%,20.10%,38.96% and 62.10% respectively.Considering both yield growth rate and Nitrogen Agronomic Efficiency(NAE),80% Stabilized Fertilizer application is more adaptable in southern and southwestern regions,whereas the conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application is recommended for eastern,central,northern,northwestern,and northeastern regions of China.Within a certain range of p H value(4.6-7.7),the yield growth rate increases as the p H value,thus the p H value is a key factor which influences the efficiency of stabilized fertilizer.3)To include both yield growth rate and NAE as consideration for maize,80% stabilized fertilizer application is more adaptable in southwestern,central,eastern and northern regions of China,the yield growth was respectively 1.78%,2.77%,2.17%,11.69%;the increase of NAE was 49.89%,42.53%,140.01%(no NAE increase in northern region)respectively.On the other hand,the conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application is recommended for northwestern,northeastern and other regions of China,the NAE increase was 17.33%,34.39% and 51.37% respectively.For paddy,80% Stabilized Fertilizer application is more adaptable in southwestern,central,eastern and other regions of China,yield growth rate was 10.53%,2.71%,9.09% and 5.43% respectively,with NAE increases of 11.13%,25.76% and 53.73% respectively(no NAE increase in Southwestern region);northeastern region adapts to conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application(yield growth rate 7.27% and NAE increased 17.69%).For wheat in eastern and other regions in China,the 80% stabilized fertilizer application is recommended,the yield growth rate were 11.72% and 5.72%,the increase of NAE were 8.48% and 36.85%,for northwestern region,the conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application is recommended,with yield growth rate of 8.72% and NAE increase of 95.17%.For longan,Chinese pepper,rape,ginger,cotton,apple,red pepper,grape and tomato,the conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application is recommended,the yield growth rate were 6.79%,25.11%,3.21%,12.50%,3.57%,22.41%,17.19%,10.80%,1.09% respectively;for tea,peanut,potato,soybean and melon,80% Stabilized Fertilizer application is more adaptable,where the yield growth rate were 6.49%,8.28%,14.68%,6.36% and 8.02%.4)From a national wide perspective,the conventional equivalent amount of stabilized fertilizer application is able to averagely increase the yield by 8.54% and the NAE by 21.77%;whereas the 80% Stabilized Fertilizer application can increase the yield by 3.13% and the NAE by 26.39%.Both conventional equivalent amout and 80% amout of stabilized fertilizer application have yield growing and fertilizer saving fuctions,and both application approaches can replace the conventional fertilization approach.To compare with converntional equivalent amout of stabilized fertilizer application,80% stabilized fertilizer application approach performed better on yield growth and fertilizer saving;however,some minor regions and crops requires attention on reducing application,therefore,when promoting 80% stabilized fertilizer application approach,certain regions and crop types need to be considered. |
