In China,wheat is the most important crop in the development of agriculture,but the slow dehydration rate of seeds affects its production seriously.After maturity,higher the grain moisture content is and more easily the ear germinates in the rainy days.After the harvest,the dehydration rate is slow,and the storage will also be affected because of the long drying time.After the wheat is physiologically mature at the dough stage,the rapid dehydration of the seeds can ensure harvest early in the field,which is significant to guarantee the maturity,harvest and storage of wheat seeds.In this paper,winter wheat variety Xiaoyan 22 was used as a material,and single dehydrating agent A or B was used as the main components of the 24 mixed dehydrating agent combination,spraying on the grains of the early and middle stages of dough stage,to study the application of dehydrating agent on the moisture content,thousand-grain weight,seed vigor(germinating power and vigor)and related physiological and biochemical indexes.Finally,we want to select the suitable dehydrating agent for wheat variety Xiaoyan 22.Samples were taken at 4 time points after spraying,and to analyze the dehydration effect of different mixtures,we measured the moisture content in time;In order to understand the effect of the application of dehydrating agents and two spraying times on seed vigor,we dried the harvested seeds and measured seed vigor,thousand-grain weight and quality.The main results are as follows:(1)Different types of dehydrating agents can reduce the moisture content of seeds.Only the A8 dehydrating agent did not reduce this in the early dough stage.In the middle dough period,except the A1 dehydrating agent that has no dehydrating effect on wheat seeds,the application of other dehydrating agents can reduce the moisture content of the seeds.On the eighth day after spraying,different types of dehydrating agents achieve the best dehydrating effect.The effect of dehydration on seeds in the middle dough stage is better than that in the early dough stage.The dehydration effect of type B dehydrating agent is slightly better than that of type A dehydrating agent.In the middle dough period,the dehydrating effect of A11 and B8?B10 dehydrating agent is the best,and the moisture content of seeds drops to 14.70%?15.66%,which is lower than the control by 23.00%.(2)Different types of dehydrating agents can affect the thousand-grain weight of seeds.On the eighth day after spraying,the 1000-grain weight of the seeds under partial dehydrating agent treatment was lower than that of the control,including B8,B9 and B10 dehydrating agents with better dehydrating effects.However,in the middle dough period,B8,B9 and B10 dehydrating agents had no significant difference in 1000-grain weight compared with the control,which were 43.23 g,43.38 g and 44.46 g respectively.(3)Different types of dehydrating agents had no significant effect on the seed germination energy,germination percentage,seedling dry weight and germination index compared with the control,but spraying the dehydrating agent in the middle dough stage had a smaller effect on the seed vigor index than the initial dough stage,even better than the control.(4)on the eighth day after spraying different types of dehydrating agents,wheat seeds treated with artificial accelerated aging,results showed that the dehydrating agent had no significant effect on seed germination energy,germination percentage,seedling dry weight,germination index and vigor index compared with the control.(5)Different types of dehydrating agents have an effect on the accumulation of seed protein and starch.Compared with the control,the seed protein dry base and starch dry base of the dehydrating agent treatment were slightly reduced.(6)In summary,B8,B9 and B10 dehydrating agents are suitable dehydrating agents for Xiaoyan 22.Harvested on the eighth day after spraying in the middle dough stage,these dehydrating agents had the best dehydrating effect on the seeds,and had the least effect on the seed 1000-kernel weight,seed vigor,seed protein and starch accumulation.
