| Ratooning rice,a rice cropping system saving fertilizer and labor and capable to achieve one crop with two harvests,is of great importance to advance’increasing efficiency and reducing fertilizer and pesticide application in agriculture’and to ensure food security.It is important to study the regeneration for roots and lateral buds in ratooning rice.In this paper,Y9918 hybrid rice was used as material,hydroponic experiment,pot experiment and field experiment were respectively carried out.By using 5 plant growth regulators of BL(0.1 mg/L),IBA(50 mg/L),complex agent 1(50 mg/L IBA+0.1mg/L BL),complex agent 2(30 mg/L IBA+0.05mg/L BL),Complex 3(10mg/L IBA+0.1mg/L BL),the effects of plant growth regulators on ratooning traits have been studied.In hydroponics experiment,the effects of plant growth regulators on soluble protein content,soluble sugar content,malondialdehyde(MDA)content,peroxidase activity(POD)and superoxide dismutase activity(SOD)in the regenerated roots in the first season main-crop stubble were studied;In pot experiment,the effects of plant growth regulator treatment on growth rate,ABA content,IAA content,CTK content,soluble protein content and malondialdehyde(MDA)content in regenerated shoots in ratooning rice were studied;In field experiment,the effects of plant growth regulator treatment on ratooning rice agronomic traits and yield were studied.The main research results are as follows:1.In pot experiment,all roots were removed from the first season main-crop stubble with a height of 40cm,then treated with plant growth regulator.The ABA content in the buds on the 2ndnodes from the stem buttom of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group,the IAA/CTK ratio was lower than that of control group 15 days after treatment and the growth rate of regenerated axillary buds has been significantly improved.The MDA content in the buds on the2nd,3rdnodes from the stem buttom decreased significantly after treated with plant growth regulators,indicating that the growth regulator treatment had a certain effect on reducing the degree of cell membrane lipid damage.IBA treatment and complex agent 1 treatment had best effect on the content of MDA in the buds on 2ndnodes from the stem buttom,and complex agent 3 had the best effect on the content of MDA in the buds on 3rdd nodes from the top.After treated with plant growth regulator,complex agent 3 had best effect on the soluble protein content and the growth rate in the buds on 2nd,3rdd nodes from the stem buttom.2.In hydroponics experiment,first season main-crop stubble was treated with plant growth regulator,the malondialdehyde(MDA)content in regenerated roots of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group within 50 days of sampling.It indicates that the treatment group reduced the injury degree of cell membrane lipid.The soluble protein content in the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,which indicated that the treatment group increased the protective effect and metabolism ability of cell membrane in roots.In the treatment group,the effect of complex agent 3 was the best.The effect of complex agent 3 had the best effect on the POD activity and soluble sugar content was the best.The complex agent 2 had the best effect on the SOD activity.3.In field experiment,after the BL spraying treatment in field,the spikelet biomass of the ratooning rice,the total biomass,the plant height and the number of filled grains were significantly increased,and the yield of the ratooning rice was also significantly increased. |
