Tom ato chlorosis v irus(ToCV)is a major pla nt vir us disease that affects the growth and developme nt of tomatoes and othe r crops. It causes a wide range of crop yie ld reductions a nd has a serious impact on many cash crops around the world.Bem isia t abaci is a k ind o f compound insect with strong destructive power. In China,Bem isia tabaci Q(MED)and B(MEAM1)have sever ious impact onp lant, and the population of MED is more tha n the population of MEAM1.There exists interactio n relationship between ToCV,Bemisia tabaci and pla nts.The purpose of this study is to understand the interaction relations hip between them based on the d irect and ind irect role of ToCV,and to determine the attractive ness of different infected-time tomato to the white flies, and to detect the prefere nce of B.tabaci to pla nts of d iffere nt infected-time.We further extracted volatiles fro m infected and healthy pla nts,and comparedthe vo latiles, and the n ana lys zed them with metabolo mics methods, the conclusions are as follows:1.After inoculation access period(IAP)of tomatoes includ ing 0,15,30,45,60 days,qPCR method was chosen to apply in detecting content of ToCV.Quantity of ToCV increases unapparently at the first 15 th to 30 th day, then at the period of the 30 th to 45 th day, accumulation o f ToCV greatly grows, and fro m the 45 th day to the 60 th day,it disp lays a declined tendency.Morewhile, quantity of ToCV at the 60 th day is higher comparing with the 15 th and the 30 th day's;2.After acquir ing the highest amount of ToCV,the preference of w hite flies with 72 h AAP(acquis itio n access period)to the hea lthy to matoes and infected to matoes for different days was observed. The vir uliferous B.tabaci Q preferred hea lthy tomato, and the viruliferous B.tabaci B showed no differenceto tomatoes with d iffere nt infected time. The vir uliferous B.tabaci Qpreferred the tomato with less virus a mount, while the viruliferous B.tabaci B has no obvious preference.3.The preference of whiteflies with the lower virus a mount were also observed.Bem isia t abaci Q preferred infected tomato pla nts at the 12-hour and 24-hour AAP.After 48 hours AAP,Bemisia tabaci Q preferred healthy to mato pla nts.B.white fly preferredinfected tomatoes at the 12-hour and 24-hour AAP,and there was no obvious preference after 48 hours AAP.4.Compared with healthy to matoes,to matoes infected ToCV release more volatiles, most of whic h are sma ll-mo lecule ole fins, alkanes. In this way the vir us spread can be promoted by pla nts through releas ing a lar ger amo unt of vo latiles substances that are more susceptible to the perception of B.tabaci.5.The different metabolites of the infected ToCV compared with the healthy una ffected p lants differed greatly in the metabolic pathways of the terpene, and more terpenes and sma ll mo lecules were prod uced.In the preference experiment between the che mical standard and the bla nk control,non-viruliferous B and Q white fly preferred the che mical far nesene?comphere, and resist the che mica l myrcene and ?-pineneand showed no obvious preference to the ?-limonene.
