| As the largest province in China,Xinjiang is endowed with unique natural resources and has broad prospects for the development of modern agricultural industry. The important component is the facility vegetable industry. However, due to the improper field management, the weak pest control technology and the abuse of chemical pesticides in the local vegetable industry, the pest damage of the vegetable industry is becoming more and more serious. Therefore, this research investigated the species of vegetable pests in the main facilities in southern Xinjiang. In order to identify the host plants with obvious tendency to Frankliniella occidentalis, the host plants of F.occidentalis were screened. In addition,“push-pull” strategy was used to establish the control technology of different crop arrangement on F.occidentalis in the field. It provides an effective theoretical basis for the effective control of pests on crops, the reduction of pesticide usage and the development of vegetable industry in facilities. The results are as follows:1.Investigation and molecular detection of major pest species of vegetables in southern Xinjiang: Investigation on the main pest species of greenhouse vegetables in southern Xinjiang found that there were more than 14 species of pests in 6 families.Including Thripidae,Aleyrodidae,Aphidoidea,Liriomyza,Anthomyiidae,Pieris rapae, etc.,all occur in greenhouse vegetables such as Solanum lycopersicum,Capsicum annuum L.,Brassica oleracea L.,Solanum melongena L.,Vigna unguiculata,Lagenaria siceraria,Apium graveolens L.,Cucumis sativus L.,etc.,the species of thrips were identified by PCR as F.occidentalis.2.Selection of F.occidentalis to different vegetable hosts: This study focused on the feeding, oviposition selection and olfactory behavior response of F.occidentalis to different host plants. The result showed that F.occidentalis prefer B.oleracea and S.lycopersicum,A.graveolens and Coriandrum sativum whether feeding or oviposition. And the olfactory behavior of B.oleracea and A.graveolens was significantly higher than that of other host plants. The most preference can be obtained B.oleracea, avoid A.graveolens.3.Comparison of control effects of different plant layouts on F.occidentalis: Different plant layouts(pull treatment 、 push treatment and push-pull treatment)were used to release F.occidentalis to observe the effect for the prevention and control effect of F.occidentalis population. The results showed that different plant arrangements in the field could regulate the population dynamics of nymphs. The control effect of three methods on the population of F.occidentalis was 54.35%,49.44% and 75.44% respectively. The control effect of push-pull treatment on the population of F.occidentalis was significantly higher than that of pull and push treatment.and the control effect of push-pull treatment was the best.Push-pull strategy has better prevention and control effect on F.occidentalis. |
