The continuity of laying hens is directly and profoundly related to the operating costs of the producers.Therefore,the laying rate of the hens in the later stage is a very important economic trait.In this study,the research team selected 192 Jinghong 1 hens and performed Genome-wide association study(GWAS).Through the comparison and analysis of three different statistical models,the results all show that there may be multiple sites on the first chromosome of hens that are related to the hen’s laying rate traits.Through GWAS,KEGG pathway enrichment and GO enrichment were performed on the candidate region genes in the 5K range.The results shows that CDC16,CCNA1 and PGR(progesterone)in the progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation pathway(progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation)receptor)are the primary candidate genes.Through protein interaction analysis,it is found that FOXO1,TNFSF11,CNTN5,GPR83 and other genes have direct interactions with genes that have been reported to be related to egg production.In the Genome-wide association study,6 SNP loci(rs314046958,rs13946912,rs15718855,rs312285713,rs13946715,rs316088674)that were significantly related to egg laying persistence traits were discovered,and the measured laying rate of 1,900 eggs in the late laying period was used.For the traits of Jinghong laying hen population,restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis technology(PCR-RFLP)was used to perform enzyme digestion and association analysis to verify these SNP loci.The results showed that rs314046958,rs15718855,and rs316088674 did not show polymorphisms,rs13946912 did not reach a significant level(P>0.05),and rs312285713 and rs13946715 were significantly associated with egg production traits(P<0.01).Therefore,rs13946715 can be used as an associated marker in the late laying period,but it is only used to assist the selection of Jinghong No.1 late laying hens.In addition,rs13946715 is located on the first intron of the tubulin gamma complex associated protein 3(tubulin gamma complex associated protein 3)gene.The TUBGCP3 gene,as the structural composition and structural molecular activity of the cytoskeleton,participates in the cell cycle of meiosis and the process of single fertilization,has been confirmed in other species.In summary,this study will provide a high-quality and efficient egg-laying gene marker for the selection of Jinghong No.1,which will help improving the selection efficiency of hens’ late laying performance and promoting Production development.
