As the basic attribute and essential characteristic of soil,soil fertility quality is an assessment criterion of soil quality.Therefore,it is necessary to ascertain the basic soil fertility and soil nutrient characteristic,in order to provide effective guidance for rational fertilization and farmland management.However,little research has been taken on its fertilization of soil for Rongchang area in west Chongqing,an area dominated by agriculture.Based on the analysis of soil nutrients of organic matter,total nitrogen(N),total phosphorus(P),total potassium(K),sulfur(S),boron(B),and calcium oxide(CaO)under different conditions,this paper evaluates the quality of soil fertility in Rongchang area of Chongqing.The conclusions are as follows:a.Descriptive statistical analysis of soil nutrients shows that the content of organic matter,P and CaO in most of the soil in the study area is unevenly distributed and seriously depleted in some areas.Therefore,due to nutritional deficiency of soil,appropriate amount of fertilizer should be put in.b.The content of potassium of soil in Rongchang in west Chongqingis at a level of abundance.The type of soil that rich in content of potassium is paddy soil and purple soil.The content of S element in large area soil is very abundant,and the soil is mainly paddy soil;N content is in a moderate state in large area;B content is in a moderate level in large area,and there is a partial lack of state.c.The fertility of land type in the study area show grain land > orchard >wasteland > forest land.Among them,IFI index of grain land is the highest,which is4.62.The soil fertility index of forest land is the lowest in turn,which is 3.59.The index of the other two types are among of them.The soil fertility of orchard and grain land are rich and relatively rich,while that of forest land and wasteland is moderate.d.The fertility of paddy soil,purple soil,yellow soil and alluvial soil decrease gradually in order.The soil fertility index of paddy soil is the highest,which is 4.38.The soil fertility index of alluvial soil is the lowest,which is 1.39.Paddy soil is rich in soil fertility,purple soil and yellow soil are moderate in soil fertility,while alluvial soil is deficient in soil fertility.e.The soil fertility condition of parent rock type is Mudstone Area > Sandstone Area > shale area > limestone area from high to low.The comprehensive evaluation index of mudstone is the highest,which is 4.56.The comprehensive evaluation index oflimestone area is the lowest,2.36.The soil fertility of mudstone area is relatively rich,while that of sandstone area and shale area is moderate,while that of limestone area is deficient.
