In this paper,the key component of apple tree pruning equipment,circular saw blade,is taken as the research object.In order to explore the force law of saw blade in the process of cutting apple branches,a branch sawing test-bed is designed and built,and a reasonable branch sawing model is built based on ABAQUS software.The sawing test-bed can simulate the stress state of the saw blade during the pruning process of apple branches,and complete data collection and analysis.Through single factor test and multi factor orthogonal test,the influence trend of the change of sawing speed and feed speed branches diameter in a certain range on the sawing force is explored,and the different influence of branches with different moisture content on the sawing force is explored.Using ABAQUS software,the process of cutting apple branches with saw blade was simulated.Based on a large number of references,a large number of explorations have been carried out from modeling,mesh generation,material selection to solution process,and finally a suitable finite element model of sawing system has been established.The rationality and accuracy of the experimental results are verified by comparing the experimental results with the simulation ones.Through the finite element analysis,the influence trend of single factor changes on the cutting force,such as the sawing speed,feed speed and branch diameter,is explored in a large range of changes,and the influence degree of various factors on the sawing force is explored through the orthogonal test.By comparing the simulation results of multi groups of finite element,the most suitable cutting parameters are found.Finally,the cutting force is the minimum and the cutting force is the most reasonable when the feed speed is 900 mm / s and the cutting speed is 50 m / s.
