In this experiment,the effects of three kinds of compound health care agent on breeder were studied.384 blue brown breeders of the same egg-laying age and the similar laying rate were chosen,and were divided into four groups:the experimental group 1(control group),the experimental group 2,the experimental group 3 and the experiment group 4,each group 96 hens,each group included 12 repeats,each repeat 8 hens.The control group breeders were fed with the conventional diet;the experimental group 2 breeders were fed with the conventional diet supplemented 1%Twotooth Achyranthes Root compound preparation(TARCP);the experimental group 3 breeders were fed with the conventional diet supplemented 1%Ligustrum Lucidum Ait compound preparation(LLACP);the experimental group 4 breeders were fed with the conventional diet supplemented 0.5%Chinese Ephedra compound preparation(CECP).The feeding experiment period were 56 days.The feeding experimental results were as follows:(1)the average laying rate of the experiment group 2,3 and 4 breeders was higher than the control group,and the average laying rate each week was smooth compared with the control group;the average laying rate of the experiment group 3 breeders was higher than the control group(P<0.05);the total egg production of the experiment group 2,3 breeders was significantly more than the control group(P<0.05),the total egg production of the experiment group 4 breeders was highly significantly more than the control group(P<0.01).The feed conversion rate of the experiment group 2,4 was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The total protein in serum of the experiment group 3 breeders was significantly more than the control group(P<0.05);total cholesterol was significantly more than the control group and the experiment group 2(P<0.05);GPT activities in serum of the experiment group 2,4 breeders were significantly lower than the control group and the group 3(P<0.05);SOD activities in serum of the experiment group 2,3,4 breeders were significantly(P<0.05)or very significant(P<0.01)higher than that of the control group;the total antioxidant capacity in serum of the experiment group 3 breeders was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);MDA in serum of the experiment group 2,3,4 breeders was significantly less than the control group.(3)MDA in liver of the experiment group 3,4 breeders was significantly less than the control group and the group 2(P<0.05);SOD activity in muscle of the experiment group 3 breeders was significantly higher than the group 2 and 4(P<0.05),very significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01);MDA in muscle of the experiment group 3,4 breeders was very significantly(P<0.01)or significantly(P<0.05)less than the control group and the group 2;SOD activities in eggs of the experiment group 2,3 breeders were significantly very higher than the control group and the group 4(P<0.01);MDA in eggs of the experiment group 2,3,4 breeders was very significantly less than the control group(P<0.01).(4)Egg shell thickness of the experiment group 2,3,4 breeders was significantly thinner than that of the control group(P<0.05);Haugh unit of the control group eggs was significantly better than the group 4(P<0.05);egg yolk color of the experiment group 2,3 was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05);egg fertilization rate of the experiment group 3,4 was very significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01),egg fertilization rate of the experiment group 2 was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).Based on the above results,the conclusion was made:(1)the three kinds of compound preparations could improve the egg production performance of breeders and FCR.(2)Three kinds of compound preparations could significantly(P<0.05)or very significantly(P<0.01)improve the breeder's antioxidant power,thus very significantly reduce MDA in serum and egg(P<0.01),decrease MDA in liver and muscle in different degrees,and decrease GPT and GOT activities in serum in different degrees.(3)Three kinds of compound preparations could significantly(P<0.05)or very significantly(P<0.01)improve the egg fertilization rate of breeders.(4)There were differences in application effects in breeders among the three kinds of compound preparations:LLACP>CECP>TARCP.
