This study was conducted to study the effects of different dietary copper supplemental level and sources on growth performance of racoon dogs in growth period(including growing period and fur-growing period). In order to screen out the suitable level and source of copper, and provide a basis for reasonable allocation of raccoon diet. The paper consists of two parts:Text 1:.Sixty male racoon dogs were randomly divided into 4 groups with 15 replicates per groups and 1 raccoon dog per replicate. The raccoon dogs in the 4 groups were fed the basal diet supplemented with 40 mg/kg copper from different copper sources. The results showed as follows,The final weight and average daily gain of the mixed copper group were significantly higher than that of the copper sulfate group. The final weight and average daily gain of raccoon dogs added with copper sulfate in fur-growing period were significantly lower than other groups, and the F/G was higher than other groups. The digestibility of crude fat in cupric chloride group was higher than that in other groups in growing period. The copper digestibility of the mixed copper group was significantly higher than that of the other groups in growing period. The digestibility of copper in the mixed copper group and the copper methionine group was higher than that of the copper sulfate group in fur-growing period. The contents of fecal copper and urine copper of raccoon dogs were closely related to different copper sources in the growing period. The content of fecal copper in the copper sulfate group of raccoon dogs of fur-growing period was significantly higher than that in other groups, and the content of copper deposition was lower than that in other groups. In fur-growing period, the serum CP activity of raccoon copper sulfate group was significantly lower than that of each group, the serum T-SOD activity of the mixed copper and methionine copper group was significantly higher than that of the copper sulfate group, and the serum Cu-Zn SOD activity of the methionine copper group was significantly higher than that of the copper sulfate group. In conclusion, under conditions in this experiment, copper deposition from small to large are copper sulfate, basic copper methionine chloride copper. When the tribasic copper chloride and methionine copper were used together, the copper deposition was further improved, and the mixed feeding method was more suitable for the growth and development of raccoon dogs.Text 2: One hundred and five healthy male racoon dogs were randomly divided into 7 groups with15 replicates per groups and 1 raccoon dog per replicate. The raccoon dogs were fed 7 diets with different copper supplemental levels. The results showed as follows,Copper had a significant effect on average daily weight gain and final weight of raccoon dogs in the growing period.Copper had a significant effect on average daily gain, final weight gain and F/G of raccoon dogs in fur-growing period.Dietary copper level can improve the fat digestibility of raccoon dogs in the growing period.Different levels of dietary copper had different effects on improving the digestibility of fur-growing period. The digestibility of copper decreased with the increase of dietary copper level. The growing period of another raccoon 50 mg/kg nitrogen deposition is significantly higher than the control group and 20 mg/kg group. The fecal nitrogen content of raccoon dogs decreased with the increase of copperlevel, while the urine nitrogen decreased first and then increased, and the nitrogen deposition showed a trend of decreasing after the height. The fecal copper content of raccoon dogs in growing period and fur-growing period increased with the increase of copper intake. The copper deposition of raccoon raccoon increased with the increase of dietary copper level, while the copper deposition of raccoon raccoon in fur-growing period increased with the increase of dietary copper level and finally became stable. The activity of serum CP,Cu-Zn SOD and T-SOD increased with the increase of dietary copper level, and then stabilized. In conclusion, under conditions in this experiment,When the dietary copper supplementation level was 30 mg/kg(the dietary copper content was 31.6 mg/kg)in the growing period, and when the dietary copper supplementation level was 45 mg/kg(the dietary copper content was 49.1mg/kg)in the fur-growing period,it was more suitable for the growth and development of the raccoon dogs in the growing stage.
