Fertilization is an important measure to improve the output and quality of walnuts and process in the operation of walnut gardens.Applying proper fertilizer at the right time will promote the growth of walnut trees and improve the quality of walnuts.The main method of fertilization in the walnut orchards in southern Xinjiang is manual.Most of the existing fertilizing machines in the walnut orchards use traditional ditching and fertilization appears large power consumption,low efficiency,low fertilizer utilization,and the depth and position of fertilization,which cannot meet agronomic requirements.The problem is that the low degree of mechanization has become an important factor in restricting the development of the walnut industry in southern Xinjiang.According to the above factors,this paper develops a walnut orchard quantitative fertilizer applicator that integrates trenching,fertilization and covered soil,and realizes the joint operation of trenching,soil mixing and covered soil,which avoids the root burning phenomenon caused by the existing centralized fertilization methods effectively,improves the efficiency of walnut orchard fertilization,promotes the stable and high yield of walnut production,meets the needs of the development of modern orchard industry,and promotes the rapid development of orchard planting industry.By referring to the data and investigating the agronomic requirements of fertilization in walnut orchards,the design indexes of the fertilizer spreader are determined,including the width of the ditch,the speed of the cutter head,the depth of the trench,and the working speed of the fertilizer that can ensure economy and reliability of the fertilizer applicator.Developing a quantitative fertilizer applicator for walnut orchards that integrates trenching,fertilization,and covered soil to improve the structure of the fertilizer box,selected materials that are not suitable for deformation and light weight,reduce the overall weight of the equipment,and improve the efficiency of fertilization.When researching the walnut garden fertilizing machine,the main working system and parts of the furrow fertilizing machine use innovative means through the three-dimensional drawing software.On the basis of horticultural requirements on structural design,completing the virtual assembly of the machine.using EDEM software to analyze the feasibility of the quantitative fertilizer applicator in the walnut garden,verifying the rationality of the fertilizer conveyed device of the fertilizer applicator,determining the best working speed and structural parameters of the auger of the fertilizer applicator,and optimizing the parameters of the fertilizer applicator.The analysis is based on the control system of the quantitative fertilizing machine of the single-chip walnut garden.When the fertilizing machine is close to the root of the walnut tree,the fixed-point quantitative fertilization saves fertilizer,improves the fertilizer utilization rate,meets the fertilization need of different fertilizer types,and designs a fertilizer controllable fertilizer discharge system to achieve precise fertilization to improve the effect of fertilization.
