Forest ecosystems have a vital impact on the global ecology and climate. We must maintain the vitality of forest ecosystems, ensure the continuous improvement of forest quality, strengthen scientific afforestation, rational forest management, ensure rational decision-making in forest management, and carry out forests.Site quality assessment is critical.Site quality assessment is an important means to study and master the impact of forest growth environment and environment on forest productivity. It is not only an assessment of the quality of forest land itself, but also a guiding role in forest management and decision-making(such as the choice of forest type and management method). The rational and efficient site quality assessment method is to achieve scientific afforestation and more reasonable. The key to more efficient forest management. The evaluation of forest resources is the demand caused by the development of productivity. It can be provided by forests.Humans have already identified these resources as forest resources, and use scientific and rational methods to conduct qualitative and quantitative research and discussion on forest resources. In order to improve human understanding of the benefits of forest resources and promote the rational development and utilization of forest resources by humans, this process is called forest resource evaluation.A scientific quantitative assessment of forest resources and their ancillary products, and even their ecological and social benefits,is ultimately a process of evaluation.Through the evaluator's assessment of all aspects of the forest of the evaluation object, the quantitative and non-quantitative measurement process is based on the evaluation annotation, and finally a reliable and logical conclusion is obtained.Evaluation is the foundation of management, control and decision making. As for the evaluation of forest resources,it is actually a comprehensive evaluation process, which involves two aspects, namely the establishment of evaluation index system and the practice of evaluation methods. On the basis of summarizing the previous studies, this study takes the second survey data of forest resources as the original data, and hopes to establish a suitable forest resource evaluation index system, and select the appropriate evaluation model for its spatial and temporal dynamic analysis. The contents of evaluation and analysis generally include analysis of ecosystem status, analysis of ecosystem impact factors, analysis of ecosystem trends, and countermeasure analysis. The composition of the evaluation may generally include comprehensive analysis and evaluation,sub-system industry or single ecosystem evaluation, zoning and evaluation,sub-topic or hot issue evaluation. This paper is based on the second-class survey data of Licheng District of Jinan City, from forest quality(maternal diameter, tree height, forest age, accumulation, tree species diversity),forest health(growth status, disaster situation),site quality(soil type, thickness,Humus layer, salinization),forest land ownership(property rights),etc.analyzed the distribution and quality evaluation of forest resources in the region. The results showed that the average average DBH was 4.62 cm,the average tree height was 3.62 m,and the average unit accumulation was 26.67 m~3/hm~2.The proportion of pure forests in Licheng District is relatively large, and there are fewer mixed forests. From the perspective of tree species structure, the quality of forest resources in Licheng District is relatively poor, and the proportion of forest branches should be increased. From the perspective of community structure, the quality of forest resources in Licheng District is not very high, and there are few complete structures, most of which are simple structures. Most of the urban areas are planted forests, the average age is less than 20,most of them are young and middle-aged forests, the overall age structure is unreasonable, but it is conducive to the subsequent growth of the stand, the regional accumulation grows faster. The distribution is extremely uneven.Generally speaking, the central city area has a small amount of accumulation, and the accumulation is mainly distributed in the southern mountainous areas, followed by the northern towns(streets, offices, etc.),showing a trend of less in the north and south. In the future forest management,we should pay attention to the adjustment of the age structure and achieve a more reasonable overall structure. In response to the problems existing in the forest resources in the region, corresponding suggestions are put forward for future reference in forest resource management and management.
