Intervertebral disc herniation is not only a disease that perplexes human health,but also very common in dogs.The diagnosis and treatment of intervertebral disc herniation in human medicine has been very mature.MRI is considered to be the best scheme for spinal examination in human medicine and veterinary medicine abroad,but there is little research in the field of veterinary imaging in China.The purpose of this paper is to establish a set of systematic MRI diagnostic flow and anatomical atlas of thoracolumbar disc herniation through MRI diagnosis of thoracolumbar disc herniation in dogs,and to analyze the correlation between age,weight,sex,location of disease,duration of neurological disorder,neurological grade and Pfirrmann grade and prognosis.This experiment collected during September 2017 to September 2019,hefei familiar red sky yisheng animal hospital of canine thoracic lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with 103 cases and two rural dog,statistics of the age,sex,weight,area,neurological disorders to maintain time,neurological grade,Pfirrmann grading,the age is divided into 1-4,4-7 y y,more than 7y;Male and female;There were thoracic segment,lumbar segment,thoracolumbar junction and two or more intervertebral disc herniation.The body weight was divided into <5kg,5-10 kg and >10kg.The maintenance time of neurological disorders was divided into <24h,24-48 h and >48h.Neurological grade into ?,?,?,?,? level;Pfirrmann grading evaluation by two experienced neurosurgeon,?,?,?,?,? level,which is suitable for imaging findings in normal level 1 reason not keep statistics.Prognostic level classification for ?,heal for ?,improving of ? levels,invalid for ?,death for ?.Spearman correlation analysis was used to study the correlation between age,gender,body weight,onset site,maintenance time of neurological disorder,neurological classification,and Pfirrmann classification and prognosis.P<0.05 was statistically significant,while P>0.05 was not statistically significant.Meanwhile,MRI diagnostic procedure and anatomical map were established.Results: the correlation coefficient between age and prognosis was obtained(r =0.194,P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between sex and prognosis,and the correlation coefficient between sex and prognosis was 0.056 and 0.571(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between weight and prognosis,the correlation coefficient between weight and prognosis was 0.223(P<0.05),the correlation coefficient between disease location and prognosis was 0.223(P<0.05),the correlation coefficient between disease location and prognosis was 0.028(P<0.05),and the correlation coefficient between neurological disorder maintenance time and prognosis was 0.034(P< 0.05),and the correlation coefficient between neurological disorder maintenance time and prognosis was 0.034(P<0.05),while the correlation coefficient between weight and prognosis was 0.223(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between neurological grade and prognosis,and there was a significant negative correlation between neurological grade and prognosis,while there was a significant negative correlation between Pfirrmann grade and prognosis.Conclusion: weight,neurological grade and Pfirrmann grade are significantly correlated with prognosis(P<0.001),while age,duration of neurological disorder,sex and location of the disease are not significantly correlated with prognosis.
