With the development of soilless culture technology,the research and development of seedling substrate which can replace peat and coconut bran is extermely urgent.In order to develop a convenient selection of materials for low-cost organic soilless seedling substrate the suitable for southern Xinjiang,In this experiment,autumn deciduous leaves,sawdust(poplar)and mushroom residue in southern Xinjiang were used as text materials,and tomato and melon were used as seeding materials to verify the effect of the matrix,to study the physicochemical properties and nutrient content of the matrix,morphology and physiological indicators of plant seedlings,and do the cost analysis of the matrix.The main findings are as follows:(1)The physicochemical properties of leaves with 5mm size were the most stable,and the fermentation effect was the best.(2)The concentration of different acid-base solution and the length of treatment time had little effect on the physical properties of leaves,and there was no regular change.In all treatments,the treatment effect of 5 mm leaves was better than that of whole leaves.The pH and EC values of 5 mm leaves matrix materials were reduced by 0.5 h immersion treatment with 2% oxalic acid solution.(3)The compound matrix of leaves(leaf: mushroom residue =2:1)with 10% organic fertilizer was the best matrix formula after composting in all treatments.(4)All the treatment stacks could be fermented,except for the high pH value and EC value,the physical and chemical properties were close to the requirements of seedling substrate,and the nutrient content was higher than that of peat,which could meet the needs of plant growth.In terms of reactor temperature,physicochemical properties and nutrient content of the heap,soaking 0.5 H immersion treatment with 2% oxalic acid solution and clear water for leaves with thermophilic side spore mold agent,and sawdust added Gymnosperms fermentation agent are the best treatments.(5)The physical and chemical properties and nutrient content of the treatment of leaves: sawdust =2:1)were the best,the growth and condition of tomato seedling cultivated by the compound matrix formula leaves: sawdust =2:1 and leaves treatments was better than that of contrast,and it is more suitable to be used as the substrate for seedling cultivation.The effect of leaf compound matrix on seeding of melon was not good,and the effect of growth and physiological index of melon treated with oxalic acid leaves:sawdust =2:1 was the best,which was closest to the control.(6)The cost of leaves: sawdust =2:1,leaves,oxalic acid leaves: sawdust =2:1 and oxalic acid leaves:mushroom dreg =2:1 seeding substrate accounted for 25%,41.6%,41.7% and 28.3% of the control(peat:perlite =1:1)respectively,which was far lower than the cost of peat.Above all,the substrate of leaves: sawdust =2:1 and leaves is suitable for seedling of tomato,and the substrate of oxalic acid leaves: sawdust =2:1 is most suitable for seedling of melon.Because the material source is wide,the price is low,is suitable for the large area promotion.
