Effects Of Stocking Density On Growth Performance,Physiological Indexes And Serum Metabolomics In Geese | | Posted on:2020-07-06 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:H Y Liu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2393330599962703 | Subject:Animal breeding and genetics and breeding | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of stocking density on growth performance and serum indexes of geese.A total of 840 20-day-old healthy SANHUA geese with similar body weights were randomly assigned to 4 groups,including M2(2 geese /m2),M3(3 geese /m2),M4(4 geese /m2)and M5(5 geese /m2)groups,that included 6 repeats each group.The geese of this experiment tested from 20-day-old to 70-day-old.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is literature review.(part Ⅱ): Effect of stocking density on growth performance,serum indexes and related gene expression of geese.Result: 1)The geese with feather damage in M5 group was more than that in M2 group and the occurrence probability of stunted geese in M5 group was higher than that in M2 group(P<0.05).2)Feed intake of geese in M5 group was lower than that in other groups(P<0.05),but no difference was found in mortality rate among these groups(P>0.05).3)The average body weight of geese in the M2 group was higher than that in the M5 group in the 50-day-old(P<0.05),so did that in the 70-day-old.Moreover,the spleen coefficient of geese in the M5 group was increased at the age of 50 days comparing with that in the M2 group(P<0.05),while the liver weight was reduced(P<0.05).4)With stocking density increasing,the glucose concentrations of geese in the 70-day-old decreased significantly,and the M5 group was significantly lower than the M2 group(P<0.05).But there was no significant difference in other serum biochemical indexes between the other groups(P>0.05).5)Comparing with the M2 group,the levels of SOD of geese in the M4 and M5 groups was reduced at the age of 70 days(P<0.05),so did the TAOC of geese in the M5 group(P<0.05).6)At the age of 50 days,the relative expression of SOD1 in the liver of the M2(2 / M2)group was significantly higher than that of the M5(5 / M2)group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference among the other groups(P>0.05).(Part Ⅲ): Effect of stocking density on serum metabolomics in geeseThe results showed that the up-regulated valine,acetylphosphoric acid,l-glutamine,pyroglutamic acid,lactic acid,citric acid,gentilic acid,chorismic acid branched acid and whey acid as well as down-regulated uric acid,stearic acid,choline phosphoric acid,xanthine and lysophosphatidylcholine may be closely related to the stoking density of geese.In conclusion,high stocking density can reduce growth performance and increase the feather damages in geese production,which may because that the geese with a high stocking density are easy to be injured by oxidative stress and metabolic disorders... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Geese, Stocking density, Growth performance, Serum indicator, Serum metabolomics | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
