The estrus identification test of dairy cows is an important part of the production activities of dairy cows in the past.The traditional artificial field identification method can not meet the needs of modern animal husbandry.In recent years,there have been methods of using pedometers and activity collectors to collect cow activity and determine cows' estrus,but the timeliness is poor and the detection rate is not high.Therefore,this paper proposes a method for accurately collecting cow activity and real-time detection of cow estrus using UWB positioning system.The main work of the thesis is as follows:(1)This paper uses UWB positioning principle to locate and collect the target cows.Firstly,the TWR ranging algorithm is used to measure the distance value of unknown nodes(tags)to three reference nodes(anchor),and then calculate by trilateration.The position information of the label is used as the coordinate value of the cow at the current time,and finally the Euclidean distance of the coordinates of the two adjacent positions is calculated and accumulated to obtain the activity amount of the cow.(2)The circuit design of the hardware system mainly adopts the STM32 main control chip and the DW1000 radio frequency chip.The communication mode between the tag and each base station follows the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol,and the two complete the ranging process through three information transmissions,and then utilize The GPRS transmitting module of the gateway base station uploads the ranging information to the cloud server.(3)Using the QT compiler environment,a PC software that can reflect the changes in the activity of the cows in various time periods is compiled,including the system time,the activity of the cow's current time period,and whether or not the estrus is displayed.The addition of the cow number and the modification of the estrus threshold can be performed.In order to improve the accuracy of positioning data,a CURD clustering algorithm is proposed,which is an algorithm based on distance and density to achieve rapid clustering.Finally,the feasibility and practicability of MATLAB simulation are proved.(4)Through the field measurement of a single cow,the UWB-based detection method can accurately calculate the change of the cow's activity and accurately find the estrus time of the target cow,and verify the feasibility of this method.Subsequently,this method was used to monitor long-term cows for a long time,and the detection rate based on UWB positioning method was 84%.Through the comparison of various methods,the UWB positioning based activity collection and estrus detection method has the following advantages: Firstly,it has an identification function,and the acquisition of the displacement amount associated with the number of moving steps can ensure its accuracy,and secondly,the target is detected.Cows can also be positioned after estrus in order to perform artificial insemination in a timely manner.Further,the position data of the cows can also analyze the behavior and individual differences of the cows.But on the other hand,the method has some shortcomings,such as the problem of large power consumption during UWB positioning,so it is necessary to take some measures to reduce power consumption,such as putting the tag into a sleep state when it is not working for a long time.Or use a solar film casing to charge the tag battery.
