Plant growth and regeneration is an important process affecting its reproduction. The germination and seedling growth of woody plants are important factors that directly affect plant population regeneration.Allelopathy is ubiquitous in medicinal plants. This phenomenon will affect the growth of plants, soil fertility and texture, leading to difficulties in plant regeneration or management.Relevant studies suggest that,as a medicinal plant, migao can inhibit seedling growth of plants such as Amomum villosum by releasing allelochemicals through soil and water. In order to realize the scientific management and rational management of the plantation in the later stage,it is necessary to know whether the litter of C.migao has an effect on the physical and chemical properties of its seedlings and soil, and whether this effect is a limiting factor for its population regeneration. This study was conducted to understand the changes of litter and its water extract in leaves, peels, seeds and stems of C.migao seedlings and soil under long-term irrigation. The purpose of this study is to explore and grasp the effects of litter on seedlings and soil physical and chemical properties and the response mechanism,so as to provide scientific basis and theoretical guidance for rational planting and improvement in the later stage. The results are as follows:(1)Litter and its water extract from leaves of C.migao significantly inhibited the seedling height and leaf shape, which prevented the seedling from growing normally. The content of MDA in seedlings increased significantly under the injury of water extract from leaves, but the activity of SOD in seedlings did not change significantly, while POD and soluble protein increased significantly with the treatment time. The results showed that the protective enzymes of C.migao seedlings were activated under the treatment of leaf water extract, but the content of protective enzymes could not alleviate the inhibitory effect of leaf water extract on C.migao seedlings.(2)The results of the study on soil nutrient elements by litter from different parts of C.migao showed that water extract could accumulate soil nutrient elements, but the difference between them was not the main reason for the inhibition of C.migao.The addition of litter increased total N and alkali-hydrolyzed N in soil, and the total N in planting group was higher than that in control group(non-planting C.migao).Soil total P and available P increased with the increase of treatment time in different parts of C.migao litter treatment, but the effect of water extract treatment on soil available P content was the smallest. When the concentration of seed water extract treatment was 0.02g/ml and 0.04g/ml,soil available P content increased significantly by 1.2 and 1.7 times. The total P content in the planting group was lower than that in the control group(non-planting group),but the accumulation of P in the soil was similar to that in the blank with the addition of water extracts from leaves and seeds, but the growth of seedlings was inhibited.P was not the main factor that inhibited the growth of seedlings. The content of total K in soil was increased under the treatment of water extract from C.migao, but it had no effect on the change of total K in soil under the treatment of water extract from stem in control group(non-planting group).Soil available K content could significantly promote soil available K content under the treatment of peel water extract. In the control group(no planting of C.migao),soil available K content increased in all parts except leaf water extract treatment.(3)The study of soil enzyme activity by litter from different parts of C.migao showed that soil enzyme activity was not the main factor restricting the growth of seedlings of C.migao.Soil urease activity in planting group was higher than that in non-planting group, and the activity increased with time, indicating that plant participation could promote soil enzyme activity. However, there was no significant change in urease activity under stem water extract treatment, and phosphatase activity was higher than that under other parts treatment.Soil invertase activity in the planting group was higher than that in the non-planting group. The water extract treatment of leaves significantly increased soil invertase activity, but the change of soil invertase activity in the stem treatment was the smallest. The activity of soil catalase increased under the treatment of litter water extract, but the activity of soil catalase did not change significantly under the treatment of stem water extract. In the control group(not planted),the activities of catalase in the peel and seeds were significantly increased at the end of the period, but no significant changes were observed in other parts of the soil. |
