The trail was conducted to evaluate the effect of abscisic acid(ABA)on fruit quality and tree growth of 3-year-old ‘Summer black’(Vitis Vinifera ×Vitis Labrusca)with 16 m2 of canopy area per vine in Shanghai.The ABA was used by two different ways: dipping fruit and dipping root.Results showed that:(1)Dip fruit with 100mg/L,500mg/L and 1000mg/L exogenous ABA solution: There was not obvious effect on the average berry weight and average cluster weight.The content of total soluble solid(TSS)and content of anthocyanin in the skin increased while the titration acid(TA)content decreased.The fruit quality of treatments was better than that of control and this promoting effect was more obvious under high fruit load.In addition,dipping fruit of ‘Summer black’ grape with 500 mg/L ABA improved fruit quality and berry coloration.(2)Dip root with 50mg/L,100mg/L and 200mg/L exogenous ABA solution: When the fruit load was low,the content of total soluble solid and content of anthocyanin in the skin increased while the growth of new shoots decreased.In addition,dipping root of ‘Summer black’ grape with 50 mg/L ABA improved fruit quality and berry coloration than that of control.(3)Low fruit load improved fruit quality of Summer black grape,but there was not obvious effect on the average berry weight and average cluster weight.Maybe it relates to flower and fruit management and the tree vigour. |
