| In this study,24 hybrid combinations were obtained using three sterile lines Qiannuo 1A,Rong 18A and Neixiang 6A,and eight restorer lines Nuohui 11,Hei919,Hong 1130.The crosses were mad according to the 3×8NCⅡexperimental design.The 24 hybrid combinations were planted at three different environments in Guizhou province.Combining ablity effects for grain quality and agronomic traits of the 24 hybrid combinations were analized.The results were as follows:1.Through the study of 24 combinations,it was found that the food value of waxy combinations was higher,and the food value of whole waxy combinations was the highest;value of waxy combinations of one of the parents was next;and the combination with no waxy parents had the lowest taste value.Qiannuo 1A series combination showed lower amylose content and alkali spreading value,and higher gel consistency than those of the other two sterile lines.Thus,Qiannuo 1A could be used to improve the eating quality of hybrid rice.2.The number of spikelets in the main spike of Qiannuo1A was 220.2,the total stigma exsertion rate was 68.5%,the peak flowering time was 11:00-12:30,and the proportion of pre-noon flowering accounted for 76.2%.Generally speaking,Qiannuo1A had high flowering rate before noon,concentrated flowering period,high stigma exsertion rate and good flowering habit.3.Correlation analysis showed that the yield of Qiannuo 1A series combination was positively correlated with the whole growth period,effective panicle,panicle length,grain number per panicle,grain number per panicle,seed setting rate and1000-grain weight,but negatively with plant height.And the yield optimal regression:Y=-776.717822+6.490751211X1-0.6624771390X3+4.209384342X4+0.4614611687X5+7.43276869X8.Path analysis showed that the order of direct effects of each trait on yield was:whole growth period>1000-grain weight>grain number per ear>ear length>plant height.The direct effects of whole growth period,1000-grain weight,grain number per ear and ear length on yield were positive.4.The analysis of GCA of parents showed that the GCA effect of the same agronomic trait was different in size and direction.Compared with the Rong18A and Neixiang6A,the combination of Qiannuo 1A had the highest GCA effect on panicle length,grain number per panicle and seed setting rate.It can be seen that the combination of Qiannuo 1A had higher GCA for most agronomic traits and better comprehensive performance for economic traits.Most of the combinations of Qiannuo 1A were characterized by longer panicle,more grain number per panicle and higher seed setting rate.5.Through the analysis of the special combining ability of 24 agronomic traits,we can see that there are differences in the SCA effect values of different agronomic tratis in the same combination;there are differences in the SCA effect values of the same trait,the same maternal and different paternal combinations,or the same paternal and different maternal combinations.The SCA effect value and direction of the same agronomic traits were also different among different combinations,which indicated that the way of gene interaction in the SCA of agronomic traits was different between the hybrid combinations of the same female parent and different male parent.Compared with the Rong18A and Neixiang6A,the effective panicle,panicle length,grain number per panicle,grain number per panicle and yield of Qiannuo 1A series combinations were better,and the SCA effect values of several combinations were higher,which indicated that Qiannuo 1A was a better male sterile line.6.Heritability analysis of 8 main agronomic traits in 24 cross combinations showed that the broad heritability of all traits was greater than the narrow heritability.Among them,the broad heritability was the largest,and the smallest was the number of grains per panicle.The order of size is:1000-grain weight>seed setting rate>yield>panicle length>plant height>grain number per panicle>grain number per panicle>effective panicle.In narrow sense,the largest heritability is 1000-grain weight,and the smallest is the number of grains per panicle.The order of size is1000-grain weight>plant height>yield>panicle length>seed setting rate>grain number per panicle>effective panicle>grain number per panicle. |
