In order to investigate the energy metabolism and energy requirements of the Yunnan semi-fine wool sheep during the empty period and pregnancy,this study selected 30 empty period Yunnan semi-fine wool sheep and 30 pregnant Yunnan semi-fine wool sheep.Under the energy levels of five different diets,the energy metabolism and energy requirements of Yunnan semi-fine wool sheep during the empty period and pregnancy were studied through the combination of feeding experiment,digestion and metabolism test and gas metabolism test.The effect of different dietary energy levels on the apparent digestibility of nutrients.?1?The apparent digestibility of DM and OM in the empty ewes decreased with the increase of energy level and the difference was significant?P<0.05?;Mid-pregnancy ewes,with the increase of dietary energy level,the apparent digestibility of DM increased first and then decreased,and the difference was significant?P<0.05?;There was no significant difference in apparent
