| Breeding of disease resistant variety is the most effective and economical method for preventing and treating rice blast,but there is a significant difference between the blast resistance and the blast resistance in rice seedling stage.In 2010-2016,6454 rice germplasm resources are naturally induced by rice blast in Xiaoxi Village,Jilin Province,in2010-2016.Only 64.6% of the materials were resistant to rice panicle blast and 36.6%were susceptible to rice panicle blast.There were 814 rice germplasm resources resistant to rice leaf blast in grade 1-3,accounting for 12.6% of all the tested materials,but 75.2% of the814 materials showed rice panicle disease.Only 24.8% of the materials showed synchronous resistance to ear blast,and more than 90% of the 3 814 susceptible varieties of leaf blast showed synchronous resistance to rice blast.However,the percentage of materials resistant to panicle blast was 9.90.Therefore,the rice varieties were resistant to leaf blast at seedling stage.Not necessarily adult plant resistance to leaf blast and Panicle Blast;seedling sense,adult stage may also exhibit resistance to Panicle Blast.Considering the effect of Panicle Blast on rice yield,rice blast resistance traits of correct identification evaluation of rice varieties,rice blast disease degree should be based on the basis of rice leaf blast severity only as the reference,not as a qualitative indicator. |
