Cultivated land is the basic resource and condition for human survival. In the process of agricultural production, the quality of cultivated land has a critical impact on the yield of crops such as grain.Through the evaluation of cultivated land quality,we can help to understand the current quality and spatial distribution of cultivated land, optimize the utilization of cultivated land, promote the protection and improvement of cultivated land quality, and help maintain social stability and promote the development of agricultural modernization.Taking Yunmeng County of Hubei Province as an example, this paper constructs an evaluation index system of cultivated land quality by studying relevant literature and theoretical methods, combining with the actual situation of Yunmeng County.Data were collected through field soil sampling and survey interviews.Based on GIS technology, the weight and membership degree of evaluation index were determined by analytic hierarchy process,Delphi method and fuzzy mathematics method.Calculate the comprehensive index of cultivated land quality by using the cumulative method, and classify the quality of cultivated land in Yunmeng County.According to the research, the quality of cultivated land in Yunmeng County is divided into five grades. There are 367.45 hectares of cultivated land in grade one, accounting for 0.99%of the total cultivated land in Yunmeng County;18250.08 hectares of cultivated land in grade two, accounting for 48.96%of the total cultivated land;17061.96 hectares of cultivated land in grade three, accounting for 45.78%of the total cultivated land;1576.28 hectares of cultivated land in grade four, accounting for 4.23%of the total cultivated land;17.53 hectares of cultivated land in grade five, accounting for 0.05%of the total cultivated land. The proportion of different cultivated land quality grades in Various townships of Yunmeng County is quite different. The cultivated land with relatively high quality grade is mainly in inverted store town,Wupu town and Xiasindian town. The relatively low grade cultivated land is in Chengguan Town,Qingminghe Township and Jiepu Town. The average content of soil organic matter in cultivated land of Yunmeng County is 20.73 g/kg,which is in the lower middle level;the average content of soil total nitrogen is 1.21 g/kg,which is in the middle level;the average content of available phosphorus is 21.09 mg/kg,which is in the upper middle level;the average content of available potassium is 128.76 mg/kg,which is in the middle level;the average content of slow-acting potassium is 543.96 mg/kg,which is in the better level; The average soil bulk density is 1.28g/cm3,which is at the upper-middle level;the average pH value of the soil is 6.37,and the whole soil is weakly acidic.According to the present situation of cultivated land quality in Yunmeng County, four suggestions are put forward, namely, strengthening the construction of cultivated land infrastructure, establishing the monitoring mechanism of cultivated land quality, adopting rational agricultural tillage methods and increasing the ecological construction of cultivated land, which can provide reference for the utilization and protection of cultivated land in Yunmeng County.
