Inflammatory swelling is a common symptom in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of pets.Veterinarians often use antibiotic ointment or anti-inflammatory analgesic cream containing hormones for treatment.Because the disease is mostly a long course of disease, the use of this type of ointment prolongs the treatment cycle, while increasing the cost of treatment and the possibility of drug resistance. The compound gallnut ointment used in this subject was prepared by the Chinese Veterinary Research Group of the College of Dynamics of Anhui Agricultural University.Through the anti-inflammatory analgesic test and skin safety test, the clinical application and safety of the compound gallnut ointment were studied, and the experimental basis was provided for clinical application..The test contents and results are as follows:(1)The anti-inflammatory effect of Compound gallnut ointment was studied by xylene-induced ear swelling test and cotton ball granuloma experiment. The results are as follows.Compared with the model control group, the low-,medium-,high-dose groups of Compound gallnut ointment and the erythromycin ointment group showed significant difference in ear swelling degree and ear swelling rate(P<0.05).Compared with the erythromycin ointment group, the swelling degree and ear swelling rate of the high-,medium-,and low-dose groups of Compound gallnut ointment were not significantly different(P>0.05).Through the cotton ball granuloma experiment, the results are as follows.Compared with the model control group, the granuloma weights of the low-,medium-,high-dose groups of the Compound gallnut ointment and the erythromycin ointment group were significantly different(P<0.05).Compared with the erythromycin ointment group, the granuloma weight difference was not significant different in the high-dose group of Compound gallnut ointmentt(P>0.05),The granuloma weight difference between the low-and medium-dose groups of Compound gallnut ointment ointment was significant(P<0.05).(2)The analgesic effect of the compound gallnut ointment was studied by the acetic acid writhing test of mice. The results showed that compared with the model control group, the number of writhing in the low, medium and high dose groups of the compound gallnut ointment and the futalin ointment group was significantly reduced. There was a significant delay in the appearance of writhing(P<0.05).Compared with the Futalin ointment group, the number of writhing in the low, medium and high dose groups of the compound gallnut ointment was significantly increased and the time of writhing appeared significantly(P<0.05).Compared with the low, medium and high dose groups of the compound gallnut ointment, the high-dose ointment had the best analgesic effect.(3)The acute toxicity test of rats was used to study whether the compound gallnut ointment had toxic reaction to the skin, and the skin reaction was recorded. The results showed that the compound gallnut ointment had no skin toxicity to intact skin and damaged skin. The compound allergy test was conducted through guinea pig skin. The gallnut ointment has no allergic reaction to the skin. The results show that the compound gallnut ointment belongs to the weak-sensitive ointment.Through the rat irritation test, the left and right sides of the body are compared to study whether the compound gallnut ointment has irritative response to the skin, and the skin reaction is recorded. The results showed that the compound gallnut ointment had no skin irritation to intact skin and damaged skin. Conclusion:Compound gallnut ointment has good anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and it is safe in clinical use,no acute toxicity and irritation of skin, and no allergic reaction.
