Screening excellent herbage germplasm resources plays an important role in animal husbandry production and ecological environment protection.As a kind of excellent forage grass with great potential,wheat grass not only has rich nutrition and high forage value,but also has strong cold resistance,drought resistance and moderate salt tolerance.Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong and A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn covered a wide distribution in the Inner Mongolia region,resistance and adaptability performance is more outstanding at the same time,for this reason,this article adopts the method of field observation and indoor analysis,which conducted a systematic research on the relevant indicators on the agriculture of Agropyron cristatum ×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong and A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn biological characteristics,agronomic traits,drought resistance and salt resistance.It provides the reference on the excellent germplasm resources identification and wheat grass material selection.The main research is as follows:(1)Field observation experiment showed that plant height,leaf length,internode length,overwintering rate and fresh grass yield of monocultural Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv Hycrest-Mengnong were all significantly higher than those of A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn under the cultivation environment of central Inner Mongolia(P<0.05).The average plant height of Agropyron cristatum ×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong was up to 76.52cm,which has about 10cm higher than A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn,and the leaf length was about 2cm longer than A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn.In the wax ripening stage,the fresh grass yield of the two kinds of sorrel reached the highest value,respectively 16136.57kg·hm-2 and 13971.24kg·hm-2.Both of the two ice grass materials could overwinter normally,the overwintering rate was more than 90%.The verdure duration of A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn was longer 12d longer than Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong.There was no significant difference in leaf width,cluster diameter,stem diameter,growth rate,stem to leaf ratio and fresh to dry ratio between the two species.In heading stage,the growth rate of two kinds of wheat grass materials was the fastest.(2)The relative germination rate,relative germination potential,germination index and simplified vigor index of monoculture Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong seeds were significantly higher than those of monoculture A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn seeds under high concentration of salt stress.Correlation analysis showed that there was a very significant correlation between the indicators(P<0.01).The specific activities of SOD,POD and CAT in the plant of A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn were significantly higher than those in Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong and the content of proline in Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong was significantly higher than A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn.It was found that MDA,Pro and SP were significantly positively correlated Through correlation analysis(P<0.0/),SOD,POD and CAT were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05).The comprehensive analysis of the value of the membership function of salinity tolerance showed that the salinity tolerance of Agropyron cristatum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong(0.528)was higer than A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn(0.476).(3)The initial fluorescence(Fo),maximum fluorescence(Fm),Fv/Fm and Fv/Fo values,relative chlorophyll content per unit area of leaves,net photosynthetic rate,transpiration rate,stomatal conductance,intercellular co2 concentration,water use efficiency,electrical conductivity and proline content were significantly affected by severe drought stress.Through the correlation analysis of the photosynthetic indexes,it was found that the other indexes were significantly correlated except for WUE.The order of drought resistance was obtained by using the membership function to evaluate and analyze,the drought resistance of wheat grass Agropyron cristatrum×A.desertorum cv.Hycrest-Mengnong(0.472)was higer than A.cristatum(L.)Gaertn(0.464).
